How do you make it to where you can change to fullscreen cam via hotkey? Sometimes I like to go full screen temporarily. I've tried creating multiple sources to transition but it doesn't allow me since my cam is already in use.

In obs there is a section in settings for keybindings. Through there you set up a keybind for one scene where you are full screened, and another scene where you have your webcam smaller and a game full screened. Hope that makes sense!

I have a fullscreen scene now and that works perfectly, but when I go to my other scenes and I'm using the same video capture device source as my fullscreen scene paired with a display capture, the smaller version of my webcam is now made rectangular, is there anyways to optimize how the webcam appears between scenes without changing the settings, therefore affecting the fullscreen scene?

it is very easy! Have 2 different sources (1 with you and the game, 2 with fullscreen webcam) hop into settings and find the keybindings tab, in there create a keybinding to switch sources! easy as pie. maybe ill make a video about this too, thanks :)

I just have a question. When I go to the settings for video capture source, the highest the resolution goes to is 1280x720. Do you know if that has to do with the webcam or the monitor screen itself.

Mmm. That is interesting. I think, that it wouldnt be possible as it is not a standard for the webcams. I think fit to screen is the go to for you. Because I don't think you'd stretch the game or anything that you were recording to fit either. The ultra wide monitor is only for your eyes, so I don't think it changes for people looking at you and the webcam.

If I understand your question correctly. I think you change the size of the webcam by clicking it, and then dragging the little red circles in the corners of the webcam. Let me know if it works.

If I wanted to go from a small webcam screen to a fullscreen webcam, how do I do that. Lets say I was doing a podcast, and I was going to explain something in full screen, how do I go from having a smaller webcam screen with the screen recording to the fullscreen webcam? Simple way: right-click on your video capture source, go to transform, then fit to screen. To undo transform just close window & reopen and it’ll be back to normal
