I almost passed up this video, even though I know that you are the fussy cutting Queen! I learned so much! I have been fussy cutting more, and have been frustrated more than once. You answered so many questions, and I will be more confident now. I didn't know about the Tim Holtz scissors. I don't like the serrated edge when fussy cutting. Now I know how to hold them to prevent that! Thank you so much for this video!

You are doing a very nice job of cutting them out. I just wanted to let you know that my sister and I have used the nail scissors. I don’t know about other people but this is a skill I started perfecting in kindergarten…. Lol😂 I only recently learned this term for it 😮I just called it ‘cutting out pictures’ …. Not that your tips aren’t useful BTW I use my paper cutter to cut out those cut a parts in paper pads to make sure those lines are straight. If the corners are rounded I use a corner rounder. I’m so glad you mentioned those thick white borders on so many stickers!!! I usually cut them off 🤗 Also, I learned early on in my sewing career how to cut pointed & arrowed ribbons by folding them, so just transferred that technique to papercraft. Works very well!

Hi Laura OMG This was so interesting. I really enjoyed your share about fussy cutting paper & Ephemera....it was awesome!! I don't really love to fussy cut so I do have a Brother Scan N Cut2 and use that to fussy cut papers with lots of embellishing on them or if I stamp an image and don't have a die but I'll do lots and just have the BSNC do a Big Fussy Cutting job!! You really are an Impeccable fussy cutter and it was fun seing you do it!!! Thanks for all the Tips & Tricks share!! YOU so ROCK!! Joan Smith

Thanks for sharing. I too like fussy cutting and I always like sitting on the couch watching TV and cutting. I always go through my new papers and get them ready so I'm ready to see how you get yourself prepared. I couldn't do the get tiny ones you do though causes too much pain in my hands
@lauraalbertscrafts

You're welcome! The tiny ones are definitely tricky, but it's much cheaper for me than buying tons of enamel dots. Love tiny embellishments! It's so relaxing to veg in front of the tv and fussy cut, love it!

I need to pay visual attention when I fussy cut - so I put on pod casts or music (same as I do when I machine sew or papercraft. I handsew, knit, crochet or fold & tear paper onto my mini pages for little books 🤗 while watching TV. Very soothing 🤗
