Just want to say thank you for these tutorials! As an old boy revisiting bmx after 15 years out, this information is invaluable an has helped me figure out some things that I just couldn't get to work years ago!

Can you do this trick with a cassette? I am an adult who is interested in starting to flatland. I had a bmx in my youth but I never learned any tricks to be honest although I rode a lot. Would you recommend a cassette or a freecoaster for someone like me?
@ethanontwo25063 жыл бұрын
dont know if you found the answer bro, but only the rear wheel has the freecoaster/cassette hub on it, so if youre on the front wheel you wont need to pedal back on either of them.

Freecoasters are great for flatland stuff and you can use them doing Street or park, but a cassette on a flatland bike probably not the best option unless you're planning to focus on the front wheel tricks, so its more a question of what kind of riding you wanna do

@@ethanontwo2506 I appreciate both your answers guys.

what sort of tire pressures do you run for flatland tricks? Do you have a particular tire you like to use ?

Not true at all. We did them in the 80's with 72 degree head angle. More speed, bigger arcs.

This would be easier with front brakes by tapping them quickly just as you get near the 180 point, and they would stop you from flipping forward.
