How to gain a 1st class writing a scientific lab report.

if you are doing a biology lab report and I have data which is in graphs and tables but the brief said present only one as it had the word or will it be okay if I do both? and for the tables then would I be doing a table and a figure legend too?

Hi, @sublimebishh, I’d say since it is a lab report, ideally it should have both a graph and a table. Since the graph is a representation of what the table showcases. But in this situation you are best off asking some clarification from your lecturer or professor. Remember if you are doing a table, it will always have a heading at the top to summarise the table and if you are doing a graph it would have a figure legend which would be located underneath the figure/ graph you’ve presented.
