To all your answers, I’ve grown a mango tree and first, of course cut it open. I am gonna get out the little baby seal inside of it then you need to soak it in water overnight then put it in a pot but make sure you know where it makes a little dip on it make sure the dip is facing up because that’s where the plant comes out.

best to use a butter knife or something with no sharp blade to open it. also there is usually a small or soft gap on the outer shell. I'd like you to please locate that spot and insert the tool to open the shell.

Before opening the seed coat you need to expose it on the sunlight for 2 days so that it will be really dry and much easier to open 👐

@•Axel• a teacher told that, and after watching many videos on how to grow a mango seed, they didn't even let it dry first They just wash it and use a knife. But for safety let it dry for 2 days and use scissors ✂️ instead of a knife 🔪

get a higher quality mango like an Orange Sherbet. Grocery store mangos are so bad in comparison, those varieties have thicker skin and more fibrous which is why they ship well which is all the stores care about.

it depends a lot on the temperature. Ideally keep it around 25°C, it will take 2-3 weeks. If it's colder it will take longer. On top of your fridge or your hot water boiler is usually nice and warm, all year long, if you live in a cold country.

Actually Im pouring 1:3 ratio of hydrogen peroxide in water after planting my seed in soil I have heard that you can use hydrogen peroxide in soil since it helps the soil get oxidised for better growth of the roots

Yes, absolutely. Its much more efficient than cinnamon, too. I don't pour it in the water, i just use it to clean any mold off the pit directly.

if you're not interested in watching the beautiful roots grow in water, then sure, you can try directly in soil. Mangoes are very susceptible to rot though, so i have much better success doing it like this.

To avoid mold on the moist paper towel while it is in the bag: sprinkle cinnamon on the paper towel. Cinnamon is anti-fungal :)
