Since the syllabus for MDCAT and FSC is more or less the same just make sure you get a solid conceptual understanding of the things you are studying. This will help you in MDCAT later on. You dont need to do anything else specially right now. As soon as you are done with FSC just start doing questions from MDCAT and reivise the content,

It depends on how productive you are during those 4-5 hours and if it is the absolute most you can manage. You should focus on giving it your absolute best and make sure you are making the hours count instead of counting the hours.
