You should add that this is a Sundahl chassis to your video titles for this build. You'll get way more views, awesome piece of off-road history!

Glad you made a video. I saw the short clips of it. Glad you went into detail with it. Can't wait to see how well it turns out. I'd love to get or try to design a long travel frame like that. I have some SRP Sundahl Racing parts for me and my brothers banshee. Such a awesome and banshee/atc historical legend. Definitely have dean build a bumper for it. I'm running the radiator air scoops from him. He knew his stuff about banshees. He basically lived by them

Not to many normal riders leave the tpin set up on their protrax setup because they are not durable.wear way to fast and easy and cost to much to replace just to do it again.balljoints are the best for durability overall period.so if your sponsored or have cash to burn or just have a burning desire for max travel then heim joints for your tpin setup is just for you.and bring spares cuz they are not easy to find like ball joints when you need one
@Coolkitty6392 жыл бұрын
Fair point, not as high maintenance as heims though. I would stick with balljoints for a low maintenance XC build. Ball joints have gotten better since the mid nineties.

Can you add a suspension to a 2002 Polaris scrambler 500 two wheel drive ?

I didn’t build it, but in my opinion all ATVs should have this suspension!

Plans for the ride height? Loving the build till I saw the potential ride height, big turn off
@jaegersracing2 жыл бұрын
In order to have anywhere close to the frame’s potential suspension travel, it’ll have to be a bit taller than stock, but aiming a bit more for aesthetic with this one than pure functionality, so hopefully it will still have a nice stance and look appropriately tall.
@hunterj22532 жыл бұрын
@@jaegersracing sounds good, tall tires like some other where commenting doesn’t seem bad it’s just the rear swing arm angle that threw me off
@joseflores-sx4qw2 жыл бұрын
Well I really don't see the point in having that much travel in the front yet only a few inches in the back, because if the front doesn't flip you over if you hit a rock almost that size the rear will definitely send you to a sideways roll over.
@jaegersracing2 жыл бұрын
Rear will have 18”, so should be pretty capable front and back

@@jaegersracing oh okay, that will definitely make a difference
