JP Augment is enough to just bop some enemies in regular encounters. By the time you're in the mid 30's every fight already rewards over 250 JP.

Yo thank you so much for this. This is exactly where I am in the game same hours too. You need to mention though that Agnea needs “boost-start” too. I was getting about half the jp from AoF until I added that.

Since Hikari doesn't do anything as far as I can tell, you *could* use Temenos instead, which applies the armor corrosive effect for 3 turns at night. Or you could swap him in Throne's place and have him use dancer to give Agnea lion dance

Lucked out on my first 4 characters and got a x100 JP buff from bewildering grace. Was a basic group of lvl 30s and got more JP then I could possibly spend on them.

playing the demo 8 different times helped with that. So I was able to skip chapter 1 of all character due to having already watched them

I even try grinding by stalling…leveling is quite a task than Octopath 1. 😢

Same, but I have kids and probably half of my time has been spent not making actions. I’d also say, he’s trying to power level… you’re probably just trying to enjoy the game. This game is easy to level quickly if that’s what you want to do. Just go to harder area and win a single fight… then save and do it again and the area quickly stops being hard… assuming it works the same as octopath 1.

I'm almost 30 hours in and 8nhave lvl 51s. Still barely done any ch.2s, too engrossed with searching every inch of the world map and unlocking stuff.

I just use Ochette latent AOe attack to OTK everything non boss, Boost Start, Surpassing power, latent fill at the start of combat and Peak Perfomance, combined with Throné and/or Temenos (with my lvl 75 Ochette, I deal 20-30k damage without any more setup first turn)

U didn’t mention rare monsters spawn like crazy in this area. I got 2 king octopuff encounters and 2 fat cait encounters in the 45 minutes since I started. Granted the first cait got away but still I’m 3-4 and I’m leveling insanely fast even without the rare monsters

It's from a side quest. I'm pretty sure it's the one from Agneas starting village in the tavern. There's a girl complaining about a drunk guy and you have to knock him out.

No, you have to be at a Tavern in town. Also, you can only have up to 3 ppl with that specific subjob at time, only 1 to start with, until you unlock more via Guilds. Advanced jobs, however, ONLY ever allow 1 person on them, ever, but you can freely swap who has what subjob equipped.

id say grinding is super not needed in this game. Just by walking arund exploring ive hit level 50 and am way over leveled
