Mariosmash ProtonZap A Moon grab actually has three parts to it. 1.When the Moon is touched. 2.When the Jingle plays. 3.And When Mario finishes the animation. And together they form one complete Moon grab.

Now usually it is the touching that's useful because that is the only part that allows Mario to collect the Moon.

EDIT: This is just the Assist Mode doing its normal thing, leaving this here for others that don't know about the bubble being in Assist Mode. 2:23 Wait the bubble mechanic is here? Looks like they did think ahead of people glitching out of bounds but I guess Mario was moving too fast for it to activate properly.

No, the bubble activates whenever you hit the death plain, but since they didn't expect anyone to die as a letter it just kind of hops around until you pop out of it and hit the death plain

To those who are having trouble getting the scooter to attach itself to the side of the M, here is what I did. Line the letters up as shown in the video, then line up the I and O next to the A, so that it creates a "wall" that runs parallel to the M, and extends just slightly past it. Drive the scooter towards the wall side of the M, and the scooter will mount itself to the M automatically, no jumping required. I tried for hours to do this glitch by jumping the scooter onto the M, but once I used this method, I was successful on the very first try! After that, it only took me 2 attempts to break the R free. I did this yesterday- June 6- so the glitch had not been patched as of that time.

For anyone asking if it still works yes it does might take a while (took me 20min) but i got it. I toughed the A was more close to the R but you need to see the A as a barier so the M can’t get away.
