Thank you for this video! I’m in ib2 and not much is left till we finish the course. I’m stressing so much as I’m kind of behind with my work. this helped me so much! I'm a HS junior I think is what Americans call it? (year 11 basically) and I've been really anxious and overly preparing to start working on my IB portfolio and work and whatnot. good luck!!! my biggest piece of advice would be to start working on your portfolio as early as possible, work on it throughout the program and then you can omit unnecessary information before your final submission. it'll be super useful to have a lot of reflections, sketches, doodles and anything else documented so that you don't have to do that stuff again when you're stressing over other deadlines:)

ahhh the ib feels like ages ago for me now, I feel like the portfolio is a bit easier to give advice on because I also have portfolios as submissions at university. if more people think it's useful for me to just flip through my comparative study I definitely will though!

is the ib art year 11 and 12 cumalitive within grading or is it different grading from both years

it depends what you mean by grading. ib grades are based off the comparative study + exhibition + portfolio, most of which are finished in 12 grade. however, we were assessed by our teachers at the end of each year based on our work at the current moment. those grades don't matter for your ib diploma but might be important for applying to universities or scholarships
