I would be more interested to know how to achieve Alex’s SIGNATURE blue. What does he pay attention to to get that consistent nice blue?

That is THE best book I have ever seen for U/W photography. It's my go to bible now!

I think it is funny that people who say they don't like artificial things in their image, introduce divers in a large portion of their work. ;-) But I know what you mean.

I don't have divers in many of my macro images? I'm not sure that I follow?

Not macro work of course. I'm a wildife photographer, shooting lots of landscapes above and less under water. In my normal work, it is not a custom to introduce a human, looking at a flower or looking to the camera from a distance in the background. In underwater photography, it is considered dull if a diver is not present. So, if an amazingly good underwater photographer says he does not like artificial things in his image, I think it is a little bit funny, because I consider the diver in the natural scenes as artificial. Don't take it the wrong way though, I don't think it is a bad idea to do this. I just have another mileage. Hope my English is sufficently well to get my point explained.
