How to Get a CDL in Texas - Driving Academy

My husband got a permit in Florida and enrolled in a school. He knows almost everything except Alidot. We now relocated to Dallas texas, and he wants to take the texas cdl permit and take the driving test here in Dallas. Are you in Dallas so he can enroll in your school?

So so I understand that there were some rules changed in Texas on how to get a CDL so for my understanding, I have to go to the DMV take my test I want to get a class A restricted so that means the Texas state test general knowledge and combination test. And after I acquire my permit I would have to go to a CDL school and after the school is done I go and take my practical right now that's my understanding now is there anything that Im missing or wrong in?

Are people with advance parole able to make a cdl license? Just any legal status is enough right?
