OMG .. u just saved me hundreds of dollars!!! I bought the complete Ranger Tim Holtz mini distress dye inks. My stamps kept coming out splotchy and it was driving me crazy! I loved the colors in his collection, but I wanted a smooth image. I thought it was a problem. I didn't know it was a simple fix and stumbled upon this video. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

ohmygoodness. I was working with a new stamp set on Friday. It's now Tuesday. Had a great idea of how I wanted the card and no matter what I did the stamp refused to take the ink. I will certainly try this!

OMG Jennifer!!!!! I cannot tell you how happy I was to see this video today. I've had this problem before with stamps from several companies, (Altenew, and Stampin'Up) to name a couple, and it is extremely frustratin. I use really good inks. When I've asked the company reps about it, they are clueless! This is ONE tip that I'll not forget!!!

Roughing stamp up with an emery board before using helps too. Got that tip from another craftswoman on KZbin and I've been doing it with all my clear stamps.

Just on time! I'm trying to start into this card world, so I recently bought my first clear stamps ... I tried it once and happened what you described. I thought it was the ink. I'm looking forward to do what you explained! Thanks a lot! I really admire you. PS: You talk so clear and pleasantly that I'm also improving my english!

Have you got any plans Of an updated craft room tour? Your space looks amazing and it would be such a pleasure to get a closer look of this fantastic room. Have a Beautiful day🌼
