I do the same thing with the bowl but get the 3 taco shells on the side or use my own organic burrito or taco shells when taking to go. Btw, I thin out vivolife cream cheese with a little water and fresh lime juice to make what I think is a better tasting vegan sour cream hack. ☮️

I have never ordered a burrito for this reason. I do order 2 tortilla on the side. I do this for work once a week. 2 meals for the price of one. I have a fridge at work. That we can leave food in for the week. No one steals food. There is only 9 of us in one room. We share all our condiments🥰 Yes to more eatingnout hacks.

It's definitely an option. You can even get the small taco ones as well. They totally used to give them to you for free, but now the are 25 cents. Not bad, though. There tortillas are something special.

I loved Chipotle before going vegan and now that I am vegan I still go there just as much! I would love to see a dairy free cream sauce that could replace the sour cream. Like a cashew based avocado salsa would be great. I tried their plant based chorizo that they are testing in CO while passing through and it is SO good. I hope to see it adopted at all their locations because I preferred it to the sofritas. Great video!!

So, whenever we make tacos at home, I always just make a cashew-based sauce. It's pretty much 1/2 cup cashews, enough water to cover them, half of a large avocado, and the juice of half a lemon or lime. Salt and nutritional yeast to taste. If I have some leftover on a Chipotle day, then I'll definitely use that instead.

I prefer to go avo over sofritas, the only way to not pay extra. Awesome call with vegan sour cream: they should offer that there, and only vegan things everywhere really.

Twins! That Chipotle has been a hidden gem. It's never busy! I recently relocated to the Bay area, and I did this trick yesterday. The only problem was that this particular "Burrito Artist" was very stingy with the ingredients. Maybe it was a him thing. Maybe it was a California thing. Also! I tried the new chorizo and it was good, but a full dollar more than my mom's chicken bowl of the same size.

We had an actual argument between the car and the kitchen because I though that weighing his burrito, and then weighting one of mine would be the best and most logical way to do it. Dumping the contents of his burrito only to make it again, was all him. It wasn't worth the argument, so I just went with it. haha.
