importance of having a decent home-lab is very essential although it's not considered as a part of expertise. But the thing is, spending time in a home-lab (Linux , Windows, Vmware, Vcenter, Cisco etc) provides most of the scenarios sometimes you might approach in Enterprise level. This is like an aircraft pilot spending hours in a simulator. So you're not very far away from real world.

I just finished setting up my virtual machine 😊 VMware workstation has free 30 days trial, then I had windows 10 and windows server 2016. Man it took me the whole day to figure out everything 😅 I was gonna give up but I made it 🤩

Question. How can we setup a different VM as a workstation and link the users that we create in the domain to those workstations?

is there a way to do this with an graphics card that's not necessarily up to date. I attempted to make a home lab on my tablet, but one of the errors I encountered is that the graphic card is outdated. anyway to still do the lab with having an outdated graphic card?

You can but know they are two different types of hypervisors

If they do then they are close minded… I have over 300 skydives…. We do hours and hours of ground school and ground work before doing our jumps.

I really don’t think they will be that picky for a helpdesk position. It’s literally the most fundamental job in IT. 90% of people applies because they don’t have prior experience.
