In order to become a piping designer, one must learn piping softwares as a first step. Learn both 3D and 2D softwares. Then learn some piping design basics. Later try jobs.

Sir I have 15 year experience in piping design. 13years for power plant piping & 2years for oil and gas onshore piping design. I have known the software for PDMS , cadworks , Caesar ,sp3d & AutoCAD. But I have experience in AutoCAD only. How can I move to 3d modal piping. All industries are asking 3d modal experience. Nobody give the opportunity but asking 5 to 10 year experience. How to move MNC company please give the suggestion sir.

When a company is expecting 4 -6 of experience, these candidates also have started from 0 experience right. If there is a company that is known giving jobs to only freshers, everybody wud have applied until the jobs gets closed. To answer your question, the whole world infront of you to try and lakhs of companies u can check. The nos of companies u hv already checked would be less than 100. You still have more to check.

Hi Tauqeer. I have covered this in the 4th point. To put simply, we must run around and find where all we have openings. This perception is not only for freshers, those who are 3-5 years experienced, thinks that opportunities are only for 10 years experienced and those with 10 years see it as it goes to 15 years experienced. It keeps on going as you grow. This way of thinking comes only when you rely more on online job portal. Online portals lists out jobs for all cadres, imagine what if they list jobs only for freshers. We must change our mind. Opening are out there for everyone. Whoever smart, dedicated, hardworking and deserved are the only one who is gonna a get it. It applies to everyone. Moreover, it is not only about applying jobs, there are lots of other factors which i have mentioned in this video, plays important role to help you get a job.

Yes it will. And its upon what engineer u wanna become. If u r a planning to be a piping construction engineer, it ll b very useful. But if u wanna become a piping design engineer, you should not stay more than a year, at the same time you must learn tools and subjects required for Design engineering on ur free time.
