You have to be a industry makeup artist it's not simple to get approved anymore. I've given them everything they have asked for and they still denied me. You have to go through their approval process to apply and based on the material you upload with your application you will either be cleared to be approved or denied. Good luck I'm done with them. I've had the pro card for 8 years and never went through this before. I'll go else where.

I want to Sign up to get a Pro discount. I start makeup school October 8. I'm scared to get denied, I've heard sending a buisness card is not working anymore.

Jennifer Sanchez a business card is not qualified to get you a pro card anymore. However, if you have a certificate from an "approved" makeup school then you should be okay as long as the school gives you the minimum classroom hours that MAC stipulates. They check and verify everything now. Whoever is reviewing the pro applications must be Hitler because I've tried twice and been denied now granted my info is old but still. Clearly it shows I'm an artist my stuff just wasn't current. But you should be okay if you have a legitimate makeup school and MAC has in their requirements that the school you attend should meet their minimum classroom hours in makeup so if you are a student make sure your school provides you the hours that MAC says qualifies you for the pro card and make sure your makeup school is approved by MAC otherwise your wasting your precious time and money.
