This is awesome information Victoria!! I own a Phlebotomy school and getting a clinical externship with the local hospital at the lab was my biggest challenge. I made all the mistakes you said in this.... no contract, not knowing what to say once I got an interview etc. it took my tons of mistakes, missed opportunities and about 1 1/2 year to finally get an clinical externship. This information is so helpful. Wish I had this then.

Yes nursing homes are considered LTC in all states pretty much!
