Sister, if i go for bachelors and if i get a job within 3/4 months, then will i able to apply for work permit. Because i have heard that after 1 semester i will be able to apply for work permit.
@NanditaKothari3 жыл бұрын
If you go for bachelor's then you can get a work permit as soon as you have your registration card (it may take 1-2 months from when you apply depending on covid situation)

What if the work does not require Korean and if wedont have topik certificate because im planning to go for korean language course and looking for part time options
@NanditaKothari3 жыл бұрын
If you manage to find a work like that (which wouldbenquite difficult) you would have to confirm with your university because they are the ones who will give you permission to work before you go to the immigration office

Hello, thank you for the video. Do they have limited hours for students to work in a week?
@NanditaKothari3 жыл бұрын
Yes they do. It depends on your TOPIK level :) usually its 15-20hours a week. You can check with your university abiut the exact restrictions. But in all cases weekends and summer/winter vacations don't have any limit! ^^

@whyamialwaystired3182 Жыл бұрын
you can work at max 2 jobs at a time, so it's possible, but i don't know how that would work with the working hours limit.

Can you go to the immigration office in your area and not the main one in 양천구 신정동?
@NanditaKothari3 жыл бұрын
Every area has a designated immigration office. You should look up on hikorea website which immigration office you need to go to depending on your 구(like 마포구) where your address is registered

What level i need in korean language proficiency to get a job according to government law?
@NanditaKothari3 жыл бұрын
You can check your school's notice board. You usually need a minimum of topik 1 level 2. But if the job doesn't require korean skills, you may also be exempted i think. I recommend checking out your school's notice about part time jobs. Sometimes it depends also on the school :)
