Good tip. Strategically did a single player test first before going in for a plane raid with a crew. Otherwise it would have been a disaster. Sentry guide would be highly welcomed for sure, I think there are a lot of nifty places where you can lure Sentry out for a long time. But the best option is not get spotted. However, learning how alter Sentry route without getting spotted is also a good trick to share. Some Sentries routes by default have extremely tight windows of opportunity. Can change that with a few bush pistol shots ;)

Oh, another thing I haven't seen anyone mention is that you can tap alt while flying to toggle the mouse between view control and flying surface control to use it for elevator (pitch) and ailerons (roll) which of course locks the view high and behind the airplane much as it does when driving the cars. This is definitely my preferred configuration for landing as it's much more smooth to control and use taps of rudder (q/e) to line up well on the approach.

I love planes, and I think D4 hangar is quite easy to manage once you get the hang of it. For those who struggle - try first in singleplayer to train a bit.

I find it easier to hold space bar first, throttle forward 3 then apply turn direction and add one throttle to turn faster but back off of the throttle once it starts the faster turn. If it starts to roll out of the braking you have to reduce throttle, release brake and brake again.

I also tried now for a few Times and finally found the easiest way. At D4 Bunker you have to turn it around by pressing f and than struggle it outside the Hanger but not via driving. Just push it forward. It's pretty easy if the Mechs haven't seen you so there range isn't that big to see what you are doing in the Hanger. Will take a few minutes but push it on the start position if the mechs aren't looking

I just stop trying to get these out of the hangar you don't get this much time to do it with the mechs. It's just not worth the time and frustration. This is not fun and in my opinion games should be fun at some point.

If you press "q"+"a" or "e"+"d" at same time it seems to turn easier for me while breaking as well ofc

I did manged it, but I did not know how to reverse it, Thanks. When my plane gets up side down, I get a car and drive it a bit under the plane then I get out of the car , leave the server and join the server so the car and plane spawns and then you can flip the plane with the car.

I don't like that you're no longer able to push the vehicle at different places and from different angles, meaning you can't push the tail to spin the plane. Why can we not pick up the tail of the plane and walk with it like we can with the cars? The prop overpowering the handbrake is frustrating too, especially when you're focused so hard on feathering the throttle but there's an itty bitty bump that quickly gives you a tiny burst of speed that suddenly sends you flinging into a tree and blows off your wing and forces the plane to explode because the handbrake doesn't always engage when you tell it to. Still fun, but needs some work to get planes back to being as fun as they were

Yes they can. Go to single player and then server settings and then at vehicles make sure they are not on 0

Are planes bugged atm? Cant enter pilot seat and can not add fuel. They wsnt destoryed and i tested it with two planes. But in singleplayer i spawned one and it worked. You know why?

They got bugged with the settings because devs added functional planes to settings but it started at 0 so you have to change it to the same number as the max planes otherwise they are bugged

This is actually the most realistic plane taxi I've seen in any survival game. The plane has a wheel brake on the two main gear, the "steer" wheel at the rear is just on a swivel, it's not actually connected to the rudder. So, in order to turn, you need to use left and right toe brakes.

sure the actual mechanic is realistic but those planes in reality can still turn on a dime. they almost turn too easily. In-game trying to turn them is extremely laborious

Its not realistic but seems fine that it is a challenge to get them. How many "arsonists" in prison can just jump into a plane and fly it/land it. Landing in this game is the easier part, also not realistic.

Ahhh... first position is just idle, second would be 25% power. Just put the plane into 25% power and use the rudder QE. Super easy. You over complicated it
