if you have multiple people trying to join it, how does that work if you all get a boarding group, do you just choose which you actually want or does the app decide for you?

I think before you attempt to join the queue you select what members of your party are going to ride on the app, kind of like when you make dining reservations you have to check everyone who’s going to be there.

My husband just had the world clock app up and at exactly 6:59:59 I refreshed and we got boarding group 18

Do you have to be in the park or can you be at your Disney hotel

For the morning queue you can do it from your hotel since the park isn’t open. For the 1:00 queue I believe you have to be in the park.

Technically yes, but you don’t wait in line. You go do other things until they call you. Kind of like a reservation. And then you have an hour to return once you are called. I actually really prefer it to waiting in a real line!
