HELLO. So I had a question and coming across your channel, it seems answered but I just want to clarify. I just finished my a-levels outside Pakistan and want to start medical school in Pakistan this year 2021-2022 or 2022-2023 so since the SAT subject test has been cancelled, we were uncertain about the criteria for admission for the PTAP (Pakistan technical assistance program) so I think what I get from you is that, for admissions, students have to take the MDCAT exams and I believe that exam is currently for students staying in local but could it also become the criteria for providing admissions for students staying in foreign countries as well. The whole process for BDS and pharmacy (in dow) is same. You have to give the same NTS exam and on that basis, if you qualify for the merit number range of BDS and Pharm D, you get interview call ups

Sir MBBS entry test criteria should be reviewed and students having 60 percent marks are allowed for entry test and admission in MBBS as the criteria for other professions like Pak Army, engineering is 60 percent marks.

Private university admissions will be on merit cum choice basis. And most probably it'll be a centralized test again this year, but we'll have to wait for confirmation

In MBBS on open merit it can be a bit hard unless you score extremely high (190+) in the entrance exam as for the past few years, admissions have been closing in 85%+. But BDS is a possibility provided you do good in entrance exam (175+)

Dow has 11 seats for tagged district of lumhs. You can get in dow if you manage to get the merit among the top students and select dow as your preference in form but you will need very high merit.
