what sucks is that you could get super good with this, and you wouldn't be able to compete in any way shape or form if you ever wanted due to controller being mandatory for competitive call of duty. I grew up playing counter strike source with m&k, and cod on console with a controller/pad and I have always preferred mouse and keyboard when it comes to first person shooters. I used to dream of being able to play cod on a computer and I always told myself when I get a computer that can run cod properly, I would switch to pc. Well, that time came and I instantly noticed how much more difficult it was using m&k against controller users. I just didn't think aim assist would make controller that much better but boy was I wrong. After a few months of playing warzone with m&k and getting destroyed by literal kids with far less skill and experience, I finally gave in and plugged my controller into my pc and I probably never will use my mouse and keyboard on cod again. It really does suck man. I don't understand why they can't give m&k some form of aim assist and allow m&k players to compete. Yeah there are a lot of benefits to mouse and keyboard, but the difference it makes is no where near the difference aim assist makes. Just give m&k half or a little less than half the amount of aim assist that controller has in order to make it "more fair"... Controller would still be the better choice but at least m&k would be a viable option.

The problem with this third party software is that, in a real tournament they are not allowed and it will only hurt your skills. Just be natural and get better naturally with no help from any software

Except only what.... Unreal Tournament bans it? And that's only if you have the python program open, so if you just turn off the program with persistent settings enabled (only available in the pro version) you should be good regardless. Besides, lotta people on top end that use some kind of mouse acceleration.

There’s only so good you can get before you hit a ceiling where your playing against people just as good except they have a built in aimbot and you don’t. At the highest level of play MnK is obsolete cause you’d need PINPOINT accuracy and godlike tracking at all times while a controller player just moves his thumb a little bit and let’s the game take over much better than any human and always consistent as it’s literally coded into the game lol.

Might try this. I've been doing 1600 dpi with a mouse acceleration of .1 and an in game sense of 1. Flicking is a little tricky but tracking is way better. You know some ppl are gonna call this cheating though. The thing about controller now is you don't have aim assist. YOU are the aim assist. You are assisting the controller. I've seen so many examples of the less input you put in on the controller and let the AA do the work you hit better shots. Halo even added AA to kbm because AA is so OP in this era of gaming. Put in a cross input disable option please...

Don't know about MW2, but 2019 had basically this in the settings. There's no useful purpose in having lower/more accurate sensitivity when you're not zoomed in. My 2019 settings are basically my sensitivity is reduced by 75 percent when I'm zoomed in with a red dot sight. It makes all the difference in the world for long range gun battles, but this sounds like basic acceleration, which would fuck up one's muscle memory something good.

MW 2019 had general sensitivity settings and aim down sights sensitivity settings. There was no third level, which something like this would provide. Aim assist slowdown/bubble essentially acts as a third slowdown (and not to mention the auto tracking it provides). I can see how this would semi mimic aim assist because at least for longer range shooting your aim sensitivity would become even finer and you likely wouldn't overcorrect on a moving target. I haven't tried this so I can't say how good or bad it really is, but I've had thoughts in the past of making my mouse sniper button a specific sensitivity for when on target shooting, but it seemed like more trouble than it was worth. As for how effective this would be.. assuming its only affecting the finest of movements its probably not a problem and more of an asset than a liability. The only issue I could see is if its set at a point where it jumps between say 400 and 1600 dpi mid recoil control or whatever.

You can get aim assist on mouse and keyboard. It’s kind of complex to setup. But it basically script-maps your mouse and keyboard to emulate a controller on the pc. It’s software that does it…But then: There’s also a hardware thing that can do it too (called the apex xim)

This is kinda the same idea as gyroscope aiming on controller. You use the sticks for big/fast movements and rotate the whole controller in six axis to pinpoint your aim.

It's more a problem in warzone than in the COD main games but it's still unfair. Especially the ADS snap on controller makes quickscoping so much better and easier. It's not about being bad or good. It's just easier for controller especially as casual. Just insert the sweat guy meme for MnK and the singing guy meme for controller.

@@grimmmz7800 itll feel weird, youre capped at max sensitivity of the game for controller, with your mouse. I never done that with cronus. But I've done it with xbox360 and xim. It basically uses acceleration to try to mimic a mouse 1:1. Its good enough after some use, but if you swipe fast it'll not do anything or be chaotic. Have to deal with minor dead zones too. Which you do not have with just a mouse. For old school PC users, its not much a change. Since 10+ years ago most us used mouse acceleration, because a mouse wasn't dead accurate yet. For most part.
