Hope you're having a great day and a great week. This is one of my most awaited videos and has been a video I have wanted to film for so so long. The IGCSE has certainly not been easy but it has taught me a lot in terms of how to study more effectively and use the resources available really well sooo
Here are my TOP 5 tips on how to score A*s in all your igcse subjects and what resources and methods helped my gain rank 1 in my school :)

For extended math there is D math academy, for additional math there’s a channel called y=Mx+c For physics there’s channels like physics with mo Ali and the “IGCSE channel” also provided past paper questions For chemistry a good channel is “Mr Khing” for past papers Hope this helps!! 😊

Hi there! As mentioned in the description box, unfortunately I don’t have any of my IGCSE notes left like its all scattered in different places- the only one I do have is linked in this video - sorry about that; however if you do want some really good quality notes- check out PMT (physics and maths tutor) or if you’re willing to spend a lil but of money by taking a shared subscription with your friend, check out savemyexams!! They’re amazing and have top notch notes for EVERY SUBJECT :) hope this helps!

Know the keywords by identifying patterns from marking schemes/examiner’s reports! They’re super important when it comes to answering questions effectively so always try to structure your answers with all the relevant pointers as “model answers” Hope this helps! :)

Yo I'm a bit lazier on studying and I get highest marks on my school while people who study harder get lower marks do u have any explanation to this

Actually yes, I myself have personally seen this happening a LOT. Sometimes it comes to someone’s ability to being able to grasp concepts more easily but for me I have always believed in that hard work beats talent any day. Sometimes it could also be because some people haven’t found the study technique fit for them/what suits them - I think a key factor to grades is confidence - if you believe in yourself, your results come out much better than if you’re stressed so that may also be the reason - nevertheless, don’t underestimate the power of working hard and being consistent with your effort :) I’m sure it will pay off :)

For IGCSE biology there’s these two - biology-igcse.weebly.com/all-notes.html It’s pretty good and this one I used it for my igcse’s www.google.com.sg/amp/s/www.freeexamacademy.com/260-2/%3famp=1 Physicsandmaths tutor also has some great notes for biology, physics and chemistry Make sure to check them out Oxnotes is also good for chemistry but it has gcse content also not just IGCSE - so for chem I would recommend watching KZbin videos instead to concise your notes 📑 Hope this helps! ❤️🤗🤗

topical is better if there’s only some parts of the syllabus u find hard :) if everything seems tricky maybe try yearly papers first to identify weak areas

I believe physicsandmathstutor has past papers for Edexcel but if they don’t i would highly recommend getting a subscription to save my exams = ask your friends too = that way you guys can split the fee between each other so it wont cost too much overall :)

I am facing some problems When i study the units i understand and memories everything but when i solve pastpapers i find questions that are not related to the units or i can say it is in a tricky way and i cannot solve but mcq i can solve all bcz it is related to the units and straight How can i solve this

Ahh yes I get what you mean- application questions for short answers can be tricky but it comes with heaps and heaps of consistent practice. If you realise the nuances of each question you’ll be able to spot what the application in that quetsions is and be able to answer it more easily too- really the best thing to do is practice, feedback and repeat - apply the feedback given :)

Hi! I just read about world topper and country topper in IGCSEs. So just wanted to ask if someone can become a world topper if they get 199/200 in maths?

Hmm good question but I’m not really sure- I guess there might be congratulatory award but it’s likely that someone will get 100% because it’s math- it’s not English or a science subject so yeah I’m not sure - maybe check for other resources online ? Hope that would help 🤗

World topper in mathematics is almost always a person with 100%. Even getting a 100% does not guarantee a world top position, the student with the most clearly answered questions with the most consistency and without missing any steps will be awarded as the World Best.

Hi I’m not quite sure about cbse - I believe IGCSE Cambridge system is a UK based certificate so it is likely to have greater focus on English Language and Lit. I’d recommend doing online research abt both :)

How much time we should spend on igcse and is it ideal if you start studying 3 months prior to your exam

I think it depends, frankly speaking I considered even my preboard preparation as prep for the final IGCSE exam so I started studying the concepts again in December when my exam was in may/June and then throughout the next few months I did loads of past papers of multiple years. I think if you’re planning to start past papers three months prior that’s a really good idea because reviewing which questions you got wrong and understanding WHY takes quite some time- this is a crucial stage in learning where you may possibly go wrong/ make mistakes in the final exam. So yeah, i think if you mean it in terms of revising the content through doing practice questions and identifying weak areas, 3 months is pretty good :) Hope this helps!

@@nihilisticnirvana I think its all in the way you see the subject and content you’re learning- for me perhaps it was because i had some amazing teachers who made lessons fun but were equally strict that I wanted to do really well in chem but my advice to you would be to take each day as it goes and try to understand the concept rather than memorising or learning it’s for the sake of an exam i would always revise with my teacher and ask questions about things I didn’t understand or why things were the way they were especially while doing past paper questions- this actually made me really enjoy chem :) try this out it might work and be helpful for you - hope it is! Good luck for your exams !

That depends on your personal preference. I took both subjects and liked bio more however this may vary from person to person so perhaps look through the course content's first few chapters and see what you would enjoy learning better :) hope this helps

Will they reduce marks for 1 spelling mistake in whole paper like cartiledge instead of cartilage ???

Don’t think so but just be careful because in one of my mocks I made a spelling error and my mark did get cut for that- since it’s biology they want you to be specific and reasonably speaking scientifically correct- if the meaning of the word changes then obviously the answer is wrong so just try to keep the correct spelling in mind if you tend to make spelling mistakes - hope this helps 📚👍
