For the barrel glitch, you can get open barrel blocks that are placed by walking into a nether portal at the same moment you open the barrel in survival. This can also be used on any other container, but it won’t stay open after you reopen the world. Also, the glitch works by opening the barrel the same moment you hop into the portal and the portal effect will close the barrel GUI so you can’t open anything like your inventory, chests, or even furnaces, but once you reload the world you can open chests and things but the barrel block will still be open.

For the barrel one, there is another way. Take a sticky piston and connect it to a red stone clock you can toggle, place a barrel and turn it on, and while it’s on open the barrel then the silk touch thing

There might very well be no way of currently doing this, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask, as I have searched and searched, but everything is either java only, or a bedrock mining farm, since the portal in the end itself is used for that. The barrel one doesn’t work on mobile, is there a different way? Back in 1.17.2 there was a glitch where hanging vines would float in midair. However, it was patched, but I still have some because they were there when it updated to 1.17.10.

@@milandepilan in 1.16.40 you can just mine a pressed button and pressure plate with silk. Now they changed that but Buttons may still be obtainable like this but i'd have to test that Edit: Yes as of 1.16.221 Buttons still work but pressure plates sadly no more. When they added the chrimson and warped plate they woud glicht out when mined pressed. They looked normal but couldn't break anything. But what you broke got reset like signs and pistons and stuff. It was kinda funny
