He and Oliver had gone out with the group for the night. They left the place to go home and was just talking to one another. It got emotional between them and they kissed. A man walk pass them and called them a homophobic word and Connor got angry and attack the man when he wouldn't apologise. The man the got the better of Connor for a bit and started beating him before Connor manage to get the better of him and beated him relentlessly. (Sorry for the long answer but I wanted to give you the whole picture).
