I'm driving a 2014 Toyota Premio and have been pleasantly surprised by its fuel economy. In light traffic in Dhaka, I achieve about 12-14 km/l, while in heavy traffic, it drops to 8-9 km/l. On the highway, I consistently get around 19.5 km/l. I believe my driving habits contribute to this efficiency. I maintain smooth driving, keep tire pressures at recommended levels, and regularly clean the throttle body and butterfly valve. With a good fuel pump, my Premio proves that older models can deliver impressive fuel economy with proper care.

Great job explaining. All the points are correct and I can confirm that they work. Two more things i do that i dont recommend are tailgating and late braking. Those help with mileage too

Don't put neutral. Putting nutral take your fuel away. Please don't spread wrong information. Putting neutral when climbing downhill is the worst thing you can do to your car.

@@AhmedDrivesBD Putting a car in neutral while going downhill is unsafe because it removes engine braking, making it harder to control speed and increasing reliance on brakes, which can overheat and fail. This practice also delays response time if you need to accelerate quickly. Staying in gear provides better control, safety, and reduces brake wear. And switching between D and N can put some stress on automatic transmission. So you don't need to switch between D & N

I mentioned these things. Not all. But I did mention its not necessary to put it in neutral. And it doesnt affect automatic transmission cars of which all of them have a "Torque Converter". Unless you're buying a chevy or ford with a cvt which uses clutches instead of torque, then there will be a problem About the control thing, if someone isnt confident to do it, no one's forcing him to. I just explained what it does and what it doesnt. The amount of momentum you need to overheat a brake is beyond 99% of scenarios in BD, so that factor is also not accountable for.

Thank you so much for the comment 😊. Its known as a "Tire Inflator" or "Air Compressor". The one I'm using is "Baseus Super Mini Pro Tire Inflator". But I did face some problem. Had to replace the pipe. But except that it's great.

i dont recommend to coast in neutral..what if you have to make a sudden maneuver to avoid any collision. In that case you will not be able to accelerate on time

Anything with Torque Converter...100% safe to drive in neutral also. Cars which dont have rpm, go by the sound of the engine. Main rule. Apply throttle as less as possible ❤️

There are videos of Prius reaching 47 km/L. So yeah possible. With hybrids, try to apply throttle as less as possible. Drive like a turtle. Keeps the car running on electric power 😉
