@@CloudphaGraphics but man you know sammy green and how skilled he is and i think kysiek idk if you know him, he has a bad ping iam not sure, and he is like in specular potato's level in pvp, ping does matter a lot but try to abuse it instead of playing like you have a normal ping, like in the item shop try to look to the entrance of your base while getting stuff from the shop so you can see any one coming, when you are low try to hit somone and then go a little bit backwards and sometimes the hits will stack up and kill them but they can't get a hit on you, Try to make these stuff it really helped me

8:26 ok so one thing i wanna say is, getting a trap is great in solos, but that also means you probably have to put like 2 layers of wool or maybe wood unless you see a person running to your base before they trigger your trap. why i'm saying this is because in solos, you only have one person to defend your bed, and if you are half way across the map, then you would have to void to save your bed, but your bed would have to be protected well enough to give you time to void. if you just put a layer of wool or nothing at all, theres no point in voiding, and so theres no point in buying a trap, that would just be a waste of diamonds. NOW. if someone starts hating on me and saying that I got everything wrong, im gonna say that I am not a professional bedwars player in any way. I'm actually pretty bad at the game, this is just my opinion. so if i missed something or I didn't understand something correctly, please tell me what I got wrong instead of just saying I got something wrong because I'm tryna get better as well.

As a 141 star i must say traps are good to let you know when ur about to lose ur bed so u can get out of hard fights but unless u dont have 2 layers and 1 is wood sharp is better

that is not the point of traps, the point is just to alert you that your bed is about to get borken. for example, if you are across the map and your trap gets triggered while you are in a fight, you'll know that you probably have to dip. so you will reduce the risk of getting your bed destroyed mid fight and thus taking a final death. Also, dont void if your across the map and your trap gets triggered, you probably have no chance of saving your bed no matter the size of your bed... so its safer to just get stacked, go mid etc. instead

Can I just say - I am 350 star, so I consider myself atleast decent at the game. When Chazm says never to buy sharp before prot/trap in solos, that can also depend on your playstyle. I generally play it at a fast pace, buying sharp to make my next fight a lot easier, and since I am better than a lot of people in my solo matches, I have more confidence in my knowledge of knowing how to play different situations and win them. Other than that, great vid Chazm.

Hey chaz, great vid once again just some thoughts on it. I think a lot of people are looking for the answers to becoming good at bedwars or shortcuts if you will. What they dont understand or rather refuse to is that there is no short cut to become good at bedwars yet they still look for these answers as they get impatient and frustrated at themselves. In my opinion a change of mindset is a good start to getting better and pair that with these tips and we have an improvement in skill. I hope to see more people adapt to that. :)

imo breaking a wool def with a fb is a waste of iron when u can break it reasonably fast with your fist, but that depends on the situation where using an fb is faster if u need to void quickly or smthing.

Chazm the sharpened swords or prot and trap is completely dependant on ur play style. Maybe if youre not the best pvper then prot and trap are good but if youre confident in your skill and killing people and comboing I would go with sharp to kill enemies much quicker.

in the defense for bows: In the endgame often with only 2 teams left alot of the gens are full, so when chasing your enemies you will gather a lot of gold, and you dont need that many gaps. Bows are good for draining your enemies before a fight and also to disturb their movement

15:25 actually, solace is just a 28-30 block rush, so you will often have more than enough blocks to bridge and use some more in fights. It will also give you a great advantage to get rid of a team early, but if you fail your speedbridge it will all be useless basically.

Fun fact: The block trick where you eliminate the other person’s sprint isn’t that dependent on ping. You just put it not directly on your opponent because you need the block to fully place or it will disappear like most situations. Just once again make sure you don’t kill ur own sprint. Also rarely you can glitch someone in a block. Idk how this works but make sure to go to the opposite side because they won’t take any kb while in the block and if are experienced enough then can still hit you to some extent

Great video, but I have a question - at about 14:18, you talk about red having a will bed defence which can be easily taken out with Intel’s fireball and then point out that he mines it, which you seem to imply is a bad thing. My question, however, is that wouldn’t it be more logical to save the fireball? Maybe the guy dies just before Intel gets the bed and he would’ve got the final if he had just fireballed it, I don’t really know because it wasn’t shown in this video, but to me, unless the guy dies just before he gets the bed, saving the fireball would be more beneficial - you could probably take out the guy and use it in your next rush etc. Maybe I’m missing something simple here but I’m genuinely not sure

8:42 you see I tend to disagree with getting prot and a trap bc unless you have a good defense 1 layer of wool is just fast enough that when you void the bed will break b4 you die. story time! :D (scroll away if u dont like reading) i was playing 3s with 2 friends and im really not that good, im ok at the game especially in 3s/4s, my friends arent as good but they are competent at the least in one game we were yellow and blue took out green and camped mid, all their teammates got punch bows, diamond armor, diamond swords, obsidian, etc., and punch bowed every player off from mid. they had mid control, wouldnt even let us get red, who were slightly better than us, and the most irritating part was, at one point, i got into a 1v1 with one of the blue players and DESTROYED him. remember, im pretty trash at the game, and i still wrecked him (he had diamond armor and a diamond sword and a punch bow). killing him got me 6 ems, but unfortunately since blue kept punch bow spamming, my invis would run out by the time i got to blue base since i had to go through green and i accidentally bought a jump boost instead of 3 invis since the bridges were already built i didnt need jump. they invis rushed us and we were eliminated. most annoying game of bedwars ive ever played
