I kind of made my own flow by watching other people glove but I'm just now watching tutorials so I can learn more. I'm going to lost lands and want to be significantly better then what I was before, so hopefully within the next month I will pick up new moves
@howtoglove56726 жыл бұрын
Nice! That's dope that you're trying to learn more, hopefully my channel can be a helpful resource for you! :) I think I'll be going to lost lands too, maybe I'll catch you there!

This is really helpful. I dont even have gloves yet I just saw a glover at a rave and wanted to do it too. I'm a brand new beginner so the fact that you started five months ago is inspiring.
@howtoglove56726 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I was definitely motivated a lot in the beginning by seeing how well I could glove at the 3 month mark, then at the 6 month mark, and I still kinda feel that way, since im almost at the year mark (in june). I think its a good source of motivation in the early months of gloving , but i can also be discouraging if you dont see the progress you want to. I'm definitely stoked to inspire you though! Love to see how you progress!

Young Kenobi I’m glad you found it helpful homie! Yeah it can take a while to find a style that’s unique to you, but practicing the concepts and perfecting them make it easier to find your style eventually. Looking forward to seeing how you progress!

Hey dude you're video is awesome, I knownits abit dated now, I just found you, and you're the first glover(flow artist) who recognizes the non competitive side of gloving, and what i have came to call the term,freestyle gloving and I respect that so much because I do what feels right and good to express, and not many look at that and only look at the pure professional

Man's you just made my day, I'm 4 months in and it's been a little difficult switching from raving with glow sticks to gloves. Plus I have a Traumatic Brain Injury and the gloves help drown out all my issues and clear my mind. I live in Ohio and need to find some gloving events. I go to festivals and raves but not really many glover's but the ones that are have given me some tips. I do it multiple times daily or anytime I start to have some of my issues and it helps me so much, really has made me way more focused, no more stress or depression daily and when it starts to come on I bust out my gloves and it stops that shit dead in its tracks

I have Ptsd and have had two TBIs , Ive found gloving does clear my head and level me out sometimes . It was a private creative outlet for me for years , this summer I’m bringing them to the shows though . Ive gotten good enough that it would be weird to not bring them out now but I’m having a hard time getting past people staring at me , I’m kind of an introvert

Yess the meetups in person are super fun! you should go join the group called Glover's lounge on Facebook, and make a post saying where you're from and if there are any upcoming meetups in the area.

this was kind of hard to follow, maybe try a from your eyes perspective so we can really see how to move the hands
@rob127s1256 жыл бұрын
My right hand only, my fingers just wont move into the position for dials. Is that just a lack of muscle and i need to try to stretch/work them out more or are some ppl just unable
@howtoglove56726 жыл бұрын
Robert Farmer Well if you're trying to do a double dial (both the index/middle, and the ring/pinky), it might be difficult at first because they take a lot of finger dexterity. While there are certain hand positions that people will never be able to do (because people's hands can be physiologically different) most people can do double dials. It might take a few weeks of constantly practicing the movement and stretching your fingers to get them to the right flexibility. Just make sure you don't overtrain and injure your hand.
@rob127s1256 жыл бұрын
Much appreciated bro! Ill keep up the practice.

Another question, until just a couple days ago ive always had the light on the bottom side of my fingers. See all the pros wearing them on top. But i cant click them in to change my colors when there on top. Is there a certain glove or technique they use to still change their colors mid show?
