I remember when you first showed me that oil sheets existed. I started keeping them in my work bag and they were total game changers. ❤️

A uniform is genius! I basically have a clothing type uniform-Aline dresses and leggings (it’s a comfort thing), but I’ve worried that I don’t have enough variety. But if I went the opposite direction, and literally wore the SAME THING EVERY TIME, omg. Anything that reduces decisions. As for make up, I don’t wear it regularly, but I do used some pressed powder to smooth out the blotchiness of my face, and a tiny bit of blush and lip gloss because I’m so pale. Great video!

Great video Heather, not something I would utilize but it was a load of fun to watch!

Thank you for the oil sheet tip. I never knew they existed! And I never thought about the fact that a true makeup store would have different lighting! I have adopted the uniform a couple months ago and just putting it on is a great mental "pre-game" warm up but the stretching makes a lot of sense! Thank you for all the great tips. Game on!

Tom didn't know oil sheets existed either and now, we always compare them whenever we use them lol

I'm happy to hear some of the tips you outlined in this video we've done (oil blotting, lighting and positioning). We sometimes do vocal stretches right before we go live to get rid of any raspiness in our throats. I would love to improve our workflow with an outfit, that would save so much time. And omg, Ben's face while you were stretching was the highlight of this video lol

Oooh vocal stretches - tell me more. I felt like my voice was raspy for a week after my birthday trip to Vegas lol.

@@HeatherRamirez It's not as formal as it sounds... we just do this sound (GAHHHHH) modeled after Mark's favorite singer... it's something she does before going into a taping/recording. Whether it works is to be seen, but it's a ritual we have nonetheless.

Recently implemented the Uniform for my platforms and I love the consistency, ease and quickness I have when it comes to pressing record and just going!👏 Although I'm not wearing a company's logo I do wear my own logo because I don't plan to change my logo for a long time and if I ever do, then it can live on as a familiar nostalgic relic while still providing evergreen content. Cool topic for a video Heather, love it!🥳 (PS if you wear the same uniform each time, people can't tell when or where you made the content, or if you had to reshoot anything😉🤯)

Wearing your own logo is awesome. I would totally do that if I had one ha.

Some great tips here Heather, thank you. Still, I'm constantly blown away by how you look so natural in front of the camera 🎶🙏🙌

Oh my...your content is amazing!!! I think I just watched 1 hour of your content. Would you have a tutorial on how one can use an iPad as whiteboard in combination with ecamm live. I'm using the Notability App in presentation mode, but it seems it doesn't work in ecamm live.

Very cool video Heather, and I actually really like the uniform idea, certainly make things much easier 👍 On the face product, looking forward to go to Sefora and alike with my wife now 😂

Steve Jobs wore the same thing everyday and of course, Charlie Brown. I agree, one less thing to think about. I will have to try the oil wipes.

Thanks Heather, awesome video! You answered so many questions, and also validated my choice of using the SAME sweater every time I record, my problem is that I started my videos back in Feb (in cold Canada) so I was fine, but now is summer and I have to blast the AC to keep me from melting 🥵😅 Did you always wear makeup though? I usually don't wear makeup, so that is something I am wondering about.🤔 Can't wait to see your next one!
@HeatherRamirez2 жыл бұрын
Yes! I usually turn on the AC on full blast before I record so the room is nice and cold. And yes I always wear makeup. But for the powder and concealer, I'd recommend them to people whether they wear makeup or not. For example, I know many male creators use powder and concealer when they record but don't wear makeup any other time. Glad you found this helpful 😊

I love the idea about a uniform... and I have to admit, I totally didn't even realize you're basically dressed the same way in every video, LOL! Apparently my wife is right and I never pay attention to clothing...
