You can get better gear, just farm bosses/ shrines by beating the encounter and quitting then re-entering your last continue save of game. I've seen youtubers and twitch streams that said the same thing but just hit lvl 40 and do farming. It's a way better method in the end. Hope this helps someone in the comments. (Its amazing for exp as well)

Also, the two chests on the portals have different meanings. The Crystal chest is for a large dice at the end of the run that drops only crystals. The gold chest gives you a dice at the end of the run that can drop items/gear.

Just FYI completing the side mission "kill the dragon statue" doesnt finish the level it just gives you a bunch of progress coz its classified as a strong enemy

That’s how a few of the challenges work. If you fail the side challenge you get no punishment except no extra crystals. Finishing the challenges just grants extra bonuses.

Ya. The loot bunnies are essentially Kadala with blood shards. As well as being able to roll gear at the blacksmith which is like Kunias cube. They totally got some inspiration from D3. Which is awesome. To many times devs try to do something new and it sucks. If something works good in another game steal it and make your game better. This is by far their best endgame borderlands has had imo.

I love that Gearbox finally added this mode. Re-running campaign areas needed a revamp. Especially after playing 1000's of hours in Diablo 3 with it's Greater Rifts end game with a very similar system.

@@barkley1744 incorrect. It will also occasionally drop loot. I have received legendaries from it as well. But yes, it’s primarily for crystals. The regular chest is primarily for loot. But both give small amounts of the other type.

From my experience the portal logos are for Butt stallion ends with butt stallion giving u a random buff Dragon Lord gives u him with more modifiers Brown chest is the big red dye that will drop crystals and guns Crystal chest gives u crystal dye and drops all crystals

Keep an eye out for kwartz. They're crystals in the level that can be shattered to drop an elite enemy and a lot of crystals.

The diamond looking chest portal is not to end the run... Every Run has 3 levels, a shrine level, 3 more levels, and then a boss... The diamond chest is simply meaning that the reward at the end is more crystals. Dragon lord = Modifier Buttstalion = Buff Regular chest = loot dice Diamond chest = Crystal shard dice

If you want easy melee kills as a magic build use the mage staff of edginess makes melee into ranged attacks and deals 110% weapon dmg as spell dmg while giving you 5% spell cooldown on hit. It’s a good melee weapon when you don’t wanna get to close like with the wand and still wanna deal magic dmg

Wonderlands really has the best endgame in the series, it's a roguelite with meaningful rewards. I didn't like Borderlands 3's Mayhem Mode but at least I get to choose one Modifier in Wonderlands

@@babyyyz7948 I think so, endgame content has alot more replay than BL3 ever had. I like the chaos chamber, there are also hidden bosses that are Invincible level difficulty in the chamber. There are also way more character combinations that mostly all feel viable. It's definitely fun. The spell system is actually awesome, adds a new layer to the gameplay. Spells give me Bioshock vibes. I'd say if you enjoy the BL series in general you'd probably enjoy this one.

I was so hype when I found out this was at the end game. Borderlands has always been modeled after diablo so I knew when they put in something like paragon levels (badass ranks and myth ranks) that it was only a matter of time until they put in a good endgame like diablo 3's Nephilim rifts.

Hey, just a heads up for new players, the weird chest with horns portal doesn’t immediately end your run, it actually gives you more crystals instead of a modifier or gear. Hope this helps, I appreciate all of the new player support

Sometimes you can go to a red portol after the final boss fight to fight a tiny tina boss (which is pretty hard in my opinion, kinda feels like a raid boss to me)

Correction: the dragon lord statue does not end the current encounter, it just adds a lot of progress to the progress bar so the optimal way to do this is to actually kill a lot of elites and right before you finish, destroy the statue.

Hey moxsy another thing to add as well, You can technically (I thing it's possibly a glitch), get your friends access to chaos levels before they beat the game! Bring them into your game for chaos trial, they will unlock their newest level, and you can do this repeatedly for them to unlock them further (most things are their level with a few weird exceptions). Once they have some degree of levels, you join them in their world, they won't have access to the chaos level menu, but the end game player will and can turn it on for them. Thus giving them access to chaotic gear, better loot luck, Moon orb drops, as well as a slightly stronger/harder game play that isn't necessarily a full new difficulty! Just something neat you might appreciate!

You don’t need to manually pick up crystals. I decided to stop picking them up to test and i noticed when changing rooms crystal counter goes up by all the crystals you didnt pick up. Saves a lot of time to never manually pick crystals up

Cool video, i got a "i'm sooo stupid flash" after reading your Tip about changing to loot based gear at the Lootroom :) A few notes: 1) All crystals of a arena are looted automatically, so you don't have to run through the whole Arena at the end BUT Gold is not...so i run anyway XD 2) Every curse is increasing the drop chance of crystals by killing a normal enemy by 25%, so imo 4 curses are the the best way to farm them, elite mobs have 100% dropchance right from the beginning. Weard fact: Every second chaos upgrade run the rank has not been improved BUT after doing another one it opens up 2 at once. Don't know if this is a new bug with the patch or if this is intended.

If you do look around there Are these little skulls in just about every battle. They are in different colors if you shoot it it will fly over to a round thing could be camo or you can plainly see it. But it will dump you about 60 to 80 extra Crystals in each one, Now there is up to 3 of them, if you look long enough you will see them they are in plain sight! Remember that. If you get near it a little yellow light turns on,on it, then just look for the skulls and get even more Chrystal's

If you try to start a chaos trial and it doesn't list the level below it, go through the trial options until it does. It was not raising my chaos level today when I started one without the listed level. Might be an xbox bug, not sure.

One thing you forgot to cover, you can find symbols and skulls around the map that spawn a little wisp to follow. These provide extra crystals if you feel like you are low on them and wanna spend some extra time in each room. Helps on low gear characters because you can buy more buffs if needed.

Thanks for this, just hit endgame last night. Still have to finish getting a few Dice before I really dive in however. I see why some people are upset though if CC is the only real endgame activity. Still, it is reassuring to see they actually corrected a number of mistakes from BL3. Quest rewards dropping in vending machines and gold being actually valuable is also a very welcome addition - one of the worst things in BL has been replaying all the sidequests for specific gear. I'm guessing the Shrines are playthrough based though and not account wide?

I've been looking for a triple roll on a shield, I found one! Try to find a adaptive shield in triple roll. The one I found is all damage. I also found a thing that is like a Ruff Rider thing for your shields it works with everyone of the Shields you like best, and it makes it so you almost never go down. Can we get a guide going over enchants? What stacks, what doesn't etc? I'm honestly confused if you can't stack "On X Start" or if you can stack "On X Start" as long as they buff different things? Basically can you only have a single "Action Skill Start" and you can stack multiple "All Damage Increase" as long as they have different interactions? Or do can you have a bunch of different "On Action Skill Start" and they all need to be different buffs?

What tiny tina was missing was melee weapons. " What are you talking about about there is literally equitable melee " give me one second. What I mean is they should have scrapped circle melees and just had melee weapons. Like a sword and shield style weapon. Hold left Tigger to block and right to attack. You could have small axes and daggers. L1 to aim r1 to throw. Great axes do a spin to win on l1 and great hammers do like a huge smash. Imagine swapping from crossbow guns to a hammer that has a stick of dynamite on it. That might have been to hard to program, but they should have gone full DND. It's very fun I really like the game. I just wish the went a little bit more into DND. They mostly stuck to borderlands. Love the game, very fun.

My only problem with the reroll machine is now there’s a limit of 11 rerolls because you can only hold 4000 moon orbs and the 12th reroll costs 4096 if they just made the reroll a max of 4000 everytime that’d be fine

It's a semi-problem as you can farm that piece of gear again and reroll that one for a smaller cost. Makes it harder/longer/grindier but that's the reason we bought the game in the first place :p

Tbh all guns feel really weak other than a select few. The low base damage on some of these weapons is questionable. Especially shotguns, ars, and DEFINITELY smgs. Kinda sad. I get stuck using the same weapon or weapons because everything else is horrible

Ir could be true that all gear could be the same regardless of the chaos run you do, but a non chaos weapon should has nothing to do against a chaos 20 enemy with almost 5.5 times its base health.

I really love how the movement feels in ttw but the character sheet part is kinda meh for me personally because it makes me feel like your character is always held back in some regard as compared to other borderlands titles where it’s all about weapons and stuff to get you going and really play into your skill tree or whatever idk it’s just like a small thing that’s always in the back of my mind with this game

So basically from the get go you can get any gear. They are not walled off by chaos levels? So you can just keep playing at chaos 1 and get everything as long as you don't care about better stats?

Thank you so much for this vid, I just got done with the story and thought why not check a vid out now I'm done along with my build. I'm glad to see my gear isn't obsolete as I have some nice spells that work so well for my graveborn spellshot, although I will 100% try get my gear with volatile rolls as that sounds like an insane stat increase. I do wonder how the DLCs will affect everything

Do you think we'll be seeing alot of balance changes to the legendary weapons like what happened in bl3? Mainly buffs

They put a lot of work on maps and without TVHM we don't really need to go back except for collectibles (especially loot dice). So at the very least we'll see dedicated drops and respawnable named ennemies. Concerning balance I foresee fixes (Buff meister I'm looking at you) before any real buffs/nerfs. Class balance should come first (they need time to analyse the player datas but they can read comments and feedback).
