Discovered kiki today and my first impression was omg, cakey. But then I heard her say full coverage. Her techniques are flawless. I’ve watched a lot of videos and this by far is the best techniques ever. However, this video is one of the reasons I no longer have makeup counters do my makeup. You walk away looking like someone else. Like they put the store on your face. Too cakey. A person with flawless skin like some of the models she does don’t need so much foundation. It’s like layers. Yes I’ve subscribed and only for techniques because Kiki is great at it plus her explanations are excellent!

This is beautiful! This is more natural GLAM because of how many products were used and the trends such as highlights and contours. With actual natural makeup, highlights and contour are NOT included which is why I tell my clients the difference between looks and their meanings.

My concealer doesn't look like that when I apply. Are you adding something to the concealer to make it look THICK?

@@xo_Eli.Jam__ I typically think it’s letting the concealer dry down a bit before blending, sort of like foundation it causes more pigment when dried down. You can also use full coverage concealer!

how can you determine undertones and what to contour and highlight with? you are so talented 😍😍😍

the general rule of undertones is determining what color your veins are if you have green veins your undertone is warm if it’s blue it’s cool and if it’s both then you’re a neutral undertone and for highlighting you want to start with going two shades lighter than your skin tone for example match a concealer to your skin make sure it’s a close match then you wanna go two shades down and that’s your highlight shade however be careful cause you wanna go with the concealer that compliments your undertone hopefully that helps you a little bit 😊 oh with contouring you want something that creates a shadow I feel like something cool tone looks to muddy so you want to go with something neutral which is something in between warm and cool.
