Hey Brent love your videos, I'm a new pressure washing business finally ready to chase them commercial jobs. Do you provide the contract if so, is there a specific template you used? I have my COI and IEN, this is just the last nugget of information I can't seem to find. Keep up the great work!

Hey Brent we talked in the past and you gave me some good advice was hoping to pick your Brain for a bit. I got offer to clean new construction homes and concrete here in austin tx. Was wondering your thoughts if I should use chems or not. On house wash and concrete.

I stay away 6 inches from the doors from shopping centers. Property management gets picky for water getting inside

Are we allowed to let the water and chemicals used during a wash run down into the storm drains? If not what steps can be taken to prevent this? Thanks
@DustToGloryPW4 ай бұрын
Definitely check with your local laws but a good rule of thumb is no. There’s tons of good videos on how to prevent that, you can buy the drain socks that filter out the stuff that’s not allowed, sometimes drains look like they are storm drains but some places actually have their own holding tanks. Tons of variables but something you should definitely put a lot of thought into and do your research beforehand 🤙🏼

Do the commercial properties you contract with require you to have a contractors license to do work for them?
@DustToGloryPW4 ай бұрын
No, most of the time we just give them our W9 and our COI
@Wa004DE4 ай бұрын
what do you charge them per sq ft?
@DustToGloryPW4 ай бұрын
It really depends on how many sqft we are cleaning, if it’s a small area then we may go off of an hourly rate, sometimes it’s a daily rate, if it’s a small area we may also go off of sqft which is typically around $0.20 - $0.35 for concrete, if it’s a bigger property where we are cleaning for example 30,000 sqft of concrete it may be a little lower like in the $0.15 range. It also depends on how dirty the concrete is and how much chemical will be needed. A lot of variables in that as well.

Hey brother! On new construction for us up here typically we don’t need chems, the only thing we use chem on occasionally is maybe skid steer tire tracks, most of the time you can just hit them with a little pressure and they come right up. If they are being stubborn you may need a little degreaser and a brush to break down the rubber a little bit and then they come right out 🤙🏼

@@DustToGloryPW what about new construction homes do you just rinse down with water only or do you use chems
@DustToGloryPW4 ай бұрын
@@frankhinojosa133Most of the time water only, sometimes you may need something like One Restore for red clay if you have that around you and maybe some degreaser for tire marks but really that’s about it. New construction typically won’t have algae growth or any other stains. Hot water does help a ton if you do garage cleaning though, there will be things like drywall mud, paint drips and things like that. It’s doable with cold water but hot water helps break that stuff down.
