It's very true that regular dunk packages do not give you contact dunks; however, I'd personally suggest putting a couple on because you can still get non-contact dunks on people. Straight Arm Tomahawks will allow you to basically dunk from around the free throw line and you're less likely to miss the dunk if your Driving Dunk stat is higher. I really like Windmills Off One, too. I made a LeBron build, so most of my dunks are replicated after him. "Off Two" dunks are slower and are much easier to block, but I personally thin they look cooler, too. I only advise you to use them if you care about style, but that's personal preference, of course.

Make sure ur dunks are equipped and i usually pull back on the right stick when driving and im right between the 3 point line and the key like dead middle between those pull back on right stick and u should dunk crazy good

Question first time building a build with slashing. I have a two way shot creator. Currently he has no dunk packages no lay up packages and he only had silver contact bronze relentless bronze slithery and bronze acrobat I have slashing take over and I have max 8 badges. I caught my first body at 92 overall with that badge setup and I have a 76 driving dunk I think I hit 99 I’ll have 81 driving dunk. My question is once I’m max badge max attributes so I’m thinking Gold Contact bronze relentless etc etc and a 81 Driving dunk. So I expect him to catch bodies consistently like once a game on takeover or is that too much to ask of this build. I build him to basically green from anywhere guard any playmaker but still finish around the rim running 5 out. Right now I get a ton of dunks driving I know I’ll not going to be Westbrook out there but is there a Lower tier for dunking Great. He gets contact dunk animations already a little suspect with layups though

I have a 2way Slashing Play that gets 90 driving dunk when 99 overall along with all physical attributes on 99 aswell except for strength which if not wrong is only in 70 something or 60 something i have all contact dunks except for big man contact dunks obviously i get gatorade boost sometimes i even attribute boost from the wheel and i think i have pretty good finishing badges but i can never get posterizers on Park, WHY?!

Sincere Israel in my opinion What matters more is speed, because if there is an open lane you can dash through it and get an open dunk or layup, but if you’re to slow, they might catch up on what you’re doing, and close that lane and then you’ll be clamped up.

Even though this comment is old but make sure you time it right. Don’t do it too late either. But contacts dunks are random asf at times, It’s weather if 2k actually wanna give you the animation, or they give you a retarded layup animation. Strength doesn’t matter and i soon began to realize that but it depends what position you’re playing as. It matters if you’re playing as a big man ofc, but Speed/Vertical matters the most for a Slasher.
