For removing green water that can be a much safer method , especially since most people that are not necessarily experienced enough to make a 90%- 100% water change . There's a lot of chances to making mistakes and just to have the same thing a few days later. S0 if possible adding a micron pleated fipterr thats used for drinking water setup's along with a diatomaceous earth that has been used for decades in the maintenance or swimming pools. It's w flocculate that attaches to microscopic particles in the water making it easier for a filter to remove it..The MARINELAND company has a few filters that make it very easy to get your water crystal clear as I am sure there's a few more ways to reverse it like UV lights etc. 💚

Just put seachem purigen in your filter, cristal clear water for 9 months, just don't forget to do your water changes
