I've been arguing against taking Comet on Ziggs for ages, especially on the Ziggs mains reddit, so i'm glad a guide finally said the same things i was thinking. Comet is so unreliable on Ziggs. Everyone always talks about how his E lets you get 2 Comets off in a team fight, but the only people running through the minefield late are tanks so Comet is completely wasted damage on them, and in lane phase, anyone letting you throw E directly on top of their head without them moving away is just bad. I've had some 30 minute games where Comet only does like 1.1k damage... Scorch or Cheap Shot are almost doing that much by that point. A Lux with Comet will do 2-3x as much damage with the rune as a Ziggs.

Why AS instead of CDR? like i believe games ends faster but is 10% as still better than 1-10% lvl depends AH? or you just wanna win your early game hard ? And also your passive is reduced when you hit ability so wouldnt AH be better? Like it helps you with clearing farm and so on?

Currently the way I think of it is specific practicality; I can practically argue that 10%as lets me auto minions better in lane (so i miss less cs), lets me win some allins in lane, lets me auto atk enemy champion and be able to auto a cs in time before it dies in lane, shove lanes faster, farm under turret better. I don't see any practical situation where AH does anything that makes a difference. So like passive reduced you say? What practical game thing does this help you accomplish? Maybe being able to proc passive on turret more? but then 10% as is prob better anyways. Does it let you win some kind of specific trade? Maybe you get to proc it a bit more but then its not really reliable and it may not make a difference at all because of the way ziggs trades in lane; Lets say I got my passive proc 1 second faster in lane, and I am ready to throw the new proc, but I cant even use it to trade because opponent is just sitting back in lane. And then by the time he walks up again to trade, the 1 second advantage dissappears because both ziggs will have their passive proc up by then anyways. The only specific advantage I see to AH is that mid/late game the cdr will objectively add more dps since you won't be autoing anymore (and maybe some situations where you get to clear the waves slightly faster thereby resulting in some advantage like being able to roam a 1 second quicker or something like this).

What's your take on dark harvest on ziggs? is Aery still better?

I think it doesn't work very well, at least with this playstyle, comet and aery give u good bonus damage early that really helps ziggs lane bully and start too snowball, dark harvest could work but its a bit risky too give up early power in hopes you can snowball without it. the damage it does late would probably be really good though.
