I absolutely cannot thank you enough for this. I tried for two hours the previous night and had tried 3 rounds today before trying a new tutorial video in the hope that the person would show some magic secret that changed everything and thankfully that person was you. It's insane the change that the strategy of switching to charged attack did- I went from only sometimes being able to get the mages on screen before the timer ran out to beating the very last one with half a second to spare after one of them flung to the side. It's horrible because anyone that actually has ever played Diluc knows, you build him for Vaporize damage. Which means elemental mastery and Crimson With set. But this challenge basically negates both of those things completely and without that he does no damage.

Guys this video really helped, as to make it quite easier, try the same concept but to the left side, it is a shorter sprint consumes less stamina, also there is a huge log to corner them. Took me less than 30 secs to clear wave 1 and 2. Thanks bro!

I was ready to quit the game for this. Felt like the cherry on top of all these additions for sweaty gamers. I dont even need this visual effect. I just wanted to interact with this new feature, and it was again catered to the 0.000001% of players that keep crying that the game isnt difficult enough - no it doesnt need to be that difficult. I also tried over an hour. Was one left-click away from winning like twice or so. I'm good. But I'm glad that you are doing this though and showcasing it for others that havent given up yet!

thank you, your tutorial greatly helped, completed on the second try after watching. Changed the weapon to 5 star (that ugly yellow geo claymore) and changed his artifacts from 4 pc crimson (cause I realised it relies on reactions) to 2 pc crimson and 2 pc glad

I feel like was loosing my mind here, with C0, 10/10/10, skyward blade i'm was consistently 2 hits short of killing the mages. All the other guides are total bullshit as well, they run with constellations, gravestone and 100% c-rate and 200% c-damage artifacts like it's nothing. Your idea to use the pyro infusion from bursts to break the shields helped a lot but it still took me 20 or so attempts to beat the challenge.

I haven’t struggled in the game as much as with this challenge My Diluc is c0 5-8-7 with an f2p weapon. I almost complete it but the last one was just one-shot and only 1sec left but i couldn’t hit it 😭 I tried 4 different sets of artifacts And weapons I can say that 2 set of crimson+gladator or switching one of them with noblesse will get the highest damage possible I’m going to trey this again

Got lucky beating this guy with just a second left or less Used 4 pc gladiator with prototype Claymore (copium no other good claymore to use and tidal shadow need s healing to buff) Lucky that i did it without even any cons or 5 star weapon and serpent spine.

Just remember that you can level up your Talents if you're out of other options to increase your DPS. On my successful run I had it at 8/8/8 (from 6/6/6) using R2 Verdict (Navia's Greataxe) with a Pyro goblet. That Pyro goblet saved me from leveling my skills to 9/9/9. While sometimes we will be whacking the mob with Physical damage, you want to have enough Pyro Damage so that your Burst damage can kill the small hilichurls with one swing. With these upgrades, I managed to 1 cycle the Hilichurls and plenty of time to work on the Abyss Mages. Ditch the 4 pc Crimson Witch set since you won't be doing any reaction solo.

I have him at C1, blackcliff slasher(R1, I'll work on that later), 73/181 crit, used 2pc crimson witch/2pc golden troupe(I have a 4pc CW but that didn't work with the challenge), and 2100 attack after the sword bonus (1759 w/o). He was the first 5 star I ever got, so I've used him a crap ton over the last 8 months and I still struggled like heck. I think I probably spent hours, because I'm so used to have reactions and a full team. So yeah, it was rough.

It took me a bit of time I won't lie, but one good run with the fish claymore and my C0 Diluc pulled through. Grant it, I might have forgotten to switch to a full set of glads so the runs could have been smoother. I tried sacrificial , blackliff , yet somehow the meme Sea-Lord claymore is what did it😂. Like almost every ult the smaller hillichurls would almost all be dead and in my last successful run after weakening the big one the ult completey offs it and those cryo mages spawned just as the ult finishes the swoop upwards towards them. I honestly didn't think I could get such perfect timing until it happened.Their sheilds get weakened enough for me to break em and I am ready with another ult.

Piece of advice as well at 6:26. You can do what I did as I did the same as you up to here. Use your burst, and you had it at just the right frame but a little more ER would have helped to get it 1 hit earlier. Diluc's burst has the largest stagger value in the game, done right you can juggle lawachurls with it. Yeah, JUGGLE LAWACHURLS. It'll stagger this dude out, your infusion will be reset, and he might even die. If he does and the small hilis die you may even be lucky enough to hit the next wave with part of your burst. Then it's business as usual. It's also possible to stagger with your skill here too. Depends if you staggered him already he might be in stagger-invuln.

Me with a top 1% diluc and clearing it first try: wow i am drowning in the difficulty xD . On a real note this thing is only difficult if you cripple yourself by not having the character built. Diluc should be doing triple this damage easily. The build has no crit stats the mainstats of every piece is also wrong so to anyone thinking the challenge is actually hard its either skill issue or your build is bad.

Personally I had no problem with this challenge granted I have 5 star claymores but a quick tip for Diluc mains the melusines claymore is comparable to wolves gravestone I went back and tested it in this challenge and it's a good weapon for Diluc over all

Im genuinely baffled how a lot of you are having trouble with clearing this. My C3 Diluc is rocking Black cliff Claymore and 4pc crimson witch. Cleared it within 4 tries, if you have 5 star weapons on him and you can’t clear then it’s pure skill issue tbh.
