As someone who exists solely within the 2 mil GSP range, I can confirm that this is NOT what low GSP looks like in America. People are shielding, grabbing, comboing at 2 mil

@@rubiks8975 s Spacing doesn't mean much when you can't use the correct moves to take advantage of it. Poppt1 really struggles getting the move he wants, or just finding the correct move. He ends up smash attacking three times in a row out of desperation, and that's hardly optimal Kazuya.

I love these videos and how you dissect other players bad habits. Like it’s so eye opening. Cause it’s not just like “oh they roll on ledge every time” bad habits, it’s like “oh they attack then shield” like it’s not just one button bad habits, it’s a small sequence that you are able to sought out and to me that is really interesting how you see it, exploit it and you do it like really fast. Like it takes me a couple of games to see bad habits and I never see like those neutral bad habits. It’s usually ledge options or rolls.

Try to practice his combos. First hit forward air drag down up air to downsmash is one, down throw up air drag down chains,, etc. Also make sure to keep a download on everything your opponent does. How they recover, how they react to a tech chase, how they get off of ledge, If they spot dodge or roll a lot, etc. A ton of quick play players will double jump immediately offstage so try to read those bad jumps as well. Hope this helps a little

@@phillip4107 Joker gun can't be reflected or anything so you can use it in neutral and not have to worry about it being reflected but watch player play Joker and learn from them
@DaRkLoRd-rc5yu3 жыл бұрын
@@phillip4107 being good at neutral means knowing the whole cast's hit boxes and frame data. So you know what options they have, how long it lasts, how to dodge it and which ones you can punish. One piece of advice is sometimes the best thing you can do is not throw out an attack. As attacks put you in end lag/lock you in one spot in an animation. So waiting to put out a move until you know it will hit. Or shielding, as shield is only 1 frame to put up and a couple frames to drop. Also the best thing to in disadvantage state is di and move away and try to reset to neutral. Or reverse the advantage state and put pressure on them when they've wiffed and start your own combo in response.

Quickplay in Australia is very different than in America. I'm almost positive that I get less GSP per win than you do and I'm way more likely to run into some random guy with crazy combos. It does kind of normalize once you get above like 8 mil or so, but if you have any characters below that, it's pretty much random garbage.
@raidersfromsnow3 жыл бұрын
I am not fully sure how GSP works but I’m fairly certain it got some hidden stats to calculate how much you gain. For example if you win on a character you have never played with before you gain way more than lets say a character you have played for hours on. This is to counteract smurfing and making players not gain too much gsp and suddenly get demolished by someone way higher gsp than they are supposed to be at. This is why you see vids where people win one or two games and hit elite smash, or they lose once and have to suddenly grind for it.
@saltocorto3 жыл бұрын

I really like this series but I wish you broke it down a bit more. There are several times where you mention they are doing something but your editor either cuts it out or doesnt show all of it. I think it would be better to do it like you are (commentating while playing) but then specifically pick matches/segments of matches tk highligt what you are identifying in your opponent play style. It would also give you a good opportunity to specifically show matches or bad matches vs a play style. And I would like to see DK or Joker or byleth next:)
