Been wanting to get 70s hair. Just attempted my own curtain bangs. They looked better than I thought they did initially once I washed and dried my hair. But then I was like “oh wait, my hair is completely flat and I have no idea how to do 70s waves without rollers”. Everyone called me Farrah Fawcett all the time when I was in high school because my hair just looked naturally like hers. I did use rollers on it and everyone said I looked exactly like her. To be honest it got embarrassing after awhile. Lol. Your hair is a little too light. You have to start with very thick hair that is in the natural color not too brassy blonde. And like Farrah, use hot rollers and a curling iron for touchups. It works best if your hair is like mine and naturally holds that curl and bounces when you walk. The style is out of date now but who cares. Mostly just be yourself like I do now. I actually know a few celebrities now as a professional writer and I know Farrah would say the same thing if she were still with us.

I have medium hair in thickness so I use 320-350 degrees with my hot tools! Also having layers helps a lot with holding curls because there’s not so much weight!

Thank you!! I have better luck with the foam rollers than the Velcro rollers. Yes just roll them away from your face at an angle, fluff them out and should be pretty similar! I will definitely look into doing a video with the rollers!
