How to get from TAOYUAN International AIRPORT to TAIPEI MAIN STATION. Easy to follow.

This is my trip to Taipei and I will show you the easy way on how to get from Taipei (Taoyuan) Airport to Taipei Main Station.

Buses run every 20 minutes or so. One goes to Songshan Airport where you can grab a cheap taxi. Cheap and comfortable. Bus ride. Then the express MRT or commuter MRT then transfer to one of several color-coded lines. Best public transportation in the world. Clean. Safe. Reliable.

If you would have gone on Klook and bought the ticket there then you could have taken the express train (40 mins). Its 10 NTD cheaper AND its round trip. Try that next time.

Easy Card or tokens lang. MrT makakarating na kau sa halos lahat kung malapit ka sa any MRT stations.

MRT lang ang sinakyan namin the whole time. No need for hi speed unless gusto mo ma experience. Just go to the closest station at madali na sumakay. Pinakamadali ay Metro. Mag bus ka at mura lang.

Sir why not take the lavender colored line, it says express and price is also 160. What's the difference?

We could have taken it but we want to enjoy the view. But it would have been faster. The terminal of Express is on the other side of the Main station

Deposit for the card is 100 NTD then you I loaded it with NTD 500. I wasn't able to use it all on my 4 day stay. The card is lifetime use as long as you maintain a balance. Card can be used to pay for grocery and other things.
