@@chillmatic1593 As we were given topic lists i just wrote notes and key words down for the topic. Flash cards are always good especially for key words, key words then help you build your point and economic terminology is always a sign to examiners that you understand the question.

Evaluations are depends on... For example the question could be explain possible causes if a fiscal deficit with a country of ur choice. Your analysis would be points like, economic growth, appreciation of country etc... Evaluation can be points such as it depends on the country.. as in its different for different countries.. or the data is inadequate and only provided for one year... And short run and long run differences Hope this helps!

This may seem weird but do you have any advice on how to answer the mcq questions in paper 3 as that’s always the section that gives me the least marks

I will be making a video on it soon, but in general, there will be 2 wrong answers and then 2 similar answers. Out of the 2 similar-looking answers, one will be correct. Through process of elimination you should then be left with 2, and then you’ll have to use your economic knowledge to decide out of the 2 similar ones which is the correct one :) don’t worry - I struggled so much with MCQs too. It took me about half way through year 13 to sort it out

It essentially forces you to give context and expand on your “however” point. It aims to support your however point with examples and real world context :)

I find economics really interesting in general, purely because maths has always been my favourite subject but I’ve always also been very entrepreneurial. Economics was the perfect balance for me in that sense :)

The structure is pretty versatile for most exam boards so should also be good for OCR, as most exam boards require the same thing, but just in different formats :)

I’m not sure about Cambridge but I personally feel that Edexcel is harder than AQA. I’ve heard that cambridge can be a bit hard though :)

I took further maths and physics, but it all depends on what you’re good at and what you enjoy. Maths and econ are quite hard subjects so maybe take a 3rd easy one? Or it also depends on what you want to do after - if you want to go to uni, what do you want to study and what subject would work well with that?
