This is giving me more information about how an NEA should be layered out and done. Currently doing my NEA and the exam board is too strict about the amount of help and guidance you can get from teachers. Support is essential and needed and this video does that for me, thank you 💕😊

Do you reckon this is a decent enquiry question " How and why does quality of life vary between (a ward) and (another ward)? These are my key research questions: 1. Do variations in deprivation between both wards correlate with the quality of life experienced in them? 2. How have environmental and societal factors affected quality of life in both wards? 3. To what extent do the differing economies cause quality of life to vary in both wards? 4. To what extent has regeneration affected quality of life experienced in both wards? If you could provide me with some feedback, that would do me wonders. Thanks for the vid too, it does help me in structuring my NEA in a more sophisticated manner.

Hi, for my primary data we ended up doing it in person so I ended up interviewing people, I also looked up car reg and took decibel readings, building types and other things

bar chart sounds good, it terms of the statistical analysis I'm not quite sure I suppose it depends on how your stats/the data relate to your enquiry question and what your data shows

Hi! For primary data I’m not sure how it’s working with covid but the idea is you create the surveys and stuff you want to find out about :) what are you measuring that will show you how successful the reimaging has been? Are you going to interview people? That would be primary data, you could google or see if there are any reviews about the area online( that would be secondary data) etc x

Hi, I think you should be able to complete it on time, and I don’t have any examples of that sorry! But think about how you can measure physical geography or even in terms of human geography how that can be used to tell us about physical Geog :)

I suppose the photo might not capture the reality of what the place looks like currently, I'm not sure though, I suppose you don't always have to say everything needs improving :)

You could point out the fact that (if you too your picture) that you chose what is included - it might not be a true representation of the place you’re photographing. That’s if you took the photo though

HI! well I kind of said if my data was representable eg I might have been there at 2pm when everyone was at work so it was quiet for noise pollution or say 3:30 the roads would be busy so car pollution as school pick up. for strengths id say how what I collected helps me answer my question

Hi! You can but it’s harder to do as you have to do the actual investigation and I don’t live near a tectonic plate for example , but some people did coasts so you can do a physical one

I know two people in my class who are taking it who didn't do it at gcse and for the most part they are doing fine. Ofcs it helps in terms of foundation knowledge but its not necessary as we are all confused at the beginning :) Topics like Hazards are easier if you did GCSE Geo, however it is a relatively easy topic to understand. Topics like Changing Places aren't done at GCSE so everyone is in the same boat. I find it a very interesting topic, better than at GCSEs. Be prepared for a lot of case studies!

Take into account that you need to do the case study in a place where you can easily gather information. Is there somewhere locally or within England that you can gather primary data on wildfires? I'd suggest doing something on a much smaller scale than wildfires, but you still can do something related to the carbon cycle. For example: "To what extent does Shale fracking in wood barn farm affect key players and residents in Weald, Sussex?" just a suggestion :)
