Guys, with all due respect to this tutorial creator, he made the rot river run way overly complicated. I have serious appreciation for tutorial videos but you don’t need the dagger or even the bolusses either (which if you need bolusses in the first place still then the dagger ash of war is useless). This video doesn’t mention that when you get into the drainage area after the rot swamp thing there is a site of grace, which when you rest it’ll cure your rot and everything. So pretty much, just heavy roll through the river and then continuously heal until you get to the drainage area (which he should have explained how to get to better as well, I believe it is just a ladder drop away after entering the ‘safe’ area once done with the rot swamp). You won’t need a bunch of crimson tears for this either at all. Then just rest at site of grace and continue with this tutorial and you’ll be fine. Again, Thankyou for the video and I respect the hell out of this creator for taking the time to make it, but the rot river/swamp stuff is not needed at all.

Fair enough, though I was adding it in as a way to try teach people about curing items and quickstep to use in their gameplay if needed at any point. It wasn't 100% necessary to add it in this video though agreed.

Quicker method- warp to haligtree roots > go up the lift > up the stairs and kill the first bug here and/or sprint past all the bugs to the graveyard in the northwest mentioned in the video to get the ball bearing for the glovewarts.

There is an elevator shortcut from the Haligtree Root's Grace. Take the straight one up that leads u into a hall. Straight to the door then make a left turn. Be aware of pests both in the hall & the left area.
