Gleeok Guts are pretty important materials here in Tears of the Kingdom. When defeated, King Gleeok Sub-Bosses drop them 100% of the time. You’ll need them to upgrade a total of 2 Armor Sets here in the game:
Royal Guard Set - 9x Gleeok Guts
Ancient Hero’s Aspect - 9x Gleeok Guts
In total, you’ll need to collect 18 Gleeok Guts if you want to upgrade all of this Armor completely. Today, I’ll show you how to collect 4 Gleeok Guts in a single sitting, showing off a quick and simple route from start to finish that IS repeatable.
In addition to the locations for these King Gleeok Sub-Bosses, we'll break down the full preparation process before fighting this gauntlet of 4, extremely powerful King Gleeok bosses. These are tough boss fights, so some preparation is needed unless you want to have an absolutely miserable time! Luckily, the end result is a MUCH easier fight. I'll show you how to find the powerful weapons and bows you'll need and how to create and use an air hovercraft vehicle with autobuild so you can reach the far away sky islands where the boss is located. We’ll also go into the mechanics behind how frequently the Guts will drop, the easiest way to fight and defeat this powerful opponent, and how long it takes for these sub-bosses to respawn.
By hunting down King Gleeoks, I will show you how to find the following materials:

Don't let the gleeok get to the point that it rains down ice on you. Fly up with a rocket shield and just nuke it with whatever eyeball based arrows you have. Avoid the final phase and it goes much easier. Great video!

I just did my first King Gleeok fight and I like that the ice rained down. You can stand on it and recall it up to get an easy shot at him from the sky and when he falls it's massively damaging. They're all like that. You can ride the wind from fire or thunderbolts too.

8:04 I just stun lock the King Gleeoks using carefully timed rocket shields. Rockets are free in the device stations in the depths. Rocket up, go into bullet time to take out the heads, whale on the heads, STOP before they get back up, rocket back up as they're getting up, and repeat the steps until they're dead. No lightning helm required!!

Thanks for helping people Though revised strategy would be to be aggressive and prepared Savage lynel bow with eyeball arrows don't give any gleeoks the chance to fly And a silver lynel reaper made from a gerudo weapon obliterate the health bar

4:19 Not so. Between Gleeoks, I go to Eldin to the Rock Octoroks to restore durability to my weapons. When I'm low on durability, I switch weapons. Wasting numerous weapons just makes the process cumbersome to rebuild them. Well, so is visiting the Octorok so to each their own!

I do the same. I never let my weapons break. it's A LOT less time to just repair them then to refarm the weapons and silver lynels.

mmm iirc (forgive any discrepancies its been a hot min since i beat ToTK) u can use a multi shot bow (x5 Pref) and attach an eye to bring him down. the excess arrows will immediately divert to the next head after the 1st one goes down you could also use bombs i would argue its more dmg than the gibdo since the Blast will hit the other heads too, granted that ur shooting the middle head when its down... Base Dmg 35 + Bomb Dmg 40 x Heads 3 x # of Arrow 3 or 5 ... it works out to 675 Dmg with 3 arrows - 1,125 Dmg With 5 arrows PS. Remember not to break your precious Multishot bows... You can repair them by haveing one of the MANY Rock Octoroks on Death Mountain such them in and spit them back out, this works with weapons too its a great way to get perks on your gear such as extra dmg or in the case of x3 Bows you can make them into x5 bows. Note: this one works once per octorock so kill the now offending Ocktorock and wait till the next Blood Moon to restock your Repair Slave Work Force.

If youre doing this for the ancient aspect armour id recommend keeping hold of the silver lynel saber and mace parts instead of using em on weapons as you need 9 of each as well as the 9 geeok guts to upgrade the armour.

To be fair man they aren’t that hard to kill…. Just stun lock them… no need for all the extra stuff. Don’t need to ride ice or use your hero suit, no need for lighting helm. You’re also using quite weak weapons and not the correct ammo type…. Video is good for locations and how to get to them, But that’s about it. I don’t recommend fighting them like this. Makes life harder for no reason
