How to get Google TV user interface on any Android tv, this will work on most Android TV Sony, TCL, Toshiba, telefunken, Mi, Redmi...)
I am using TCL C715 on Android TV 9.

It works I had the android tv home stuff updated already but I didn't had the new latest ui which is similar to google tv one but after I did this I got the google tv ui which is very different from the default android tv home and even though I had the latest version of the Android tv home app

im using vpn with split tunnel like NordVpn. The problem why its back old ui because your vpn not auto start. my nordvpn has its feature and also split tunnel which makes some of main apps dont use the vpn connection. for your records, the new ui can be found if you choose usa vpn, uk, south korea and japan. those countries i tried so far. hope it helps you guys.

I have A Hisense TV with a VIDAA OS which does not allow to install anything and the worst part I can not delete the preinstalled apps. I am paying a monthly fee for an app that I want to use to watch TV but I can not USE in Hisense TV because there is not enough memory. The VPN disconnected due to system task manager. Just go to Safety Guard, then click Permission Shield, them click Auto Launch Permission, set Auto Manager to closed. Make an exception for your VPN app, and click Closed to make it Opened. Do the same on Relevance Start Permission. That fixed it for me.

New method is here, turn on windscribe vpn and connect to new york grand central, uninstall andrtiod tv home update and go to play store, click to update, when update complete do not turn off tv simply go to andriod tv home properties and click force stop, BOOM your tv change to new ui permanentley, 😄😍🥰😀🤩

This method is just forcing the update for the ones that didn't get it (this might mean that your country is not supported yet), I personally didn't have your problem but I recommend that after doing this method reopen the VPN and leave it for a while and don't shut down the tv, just use standby mode.
