If you have android then you wont need to click the r2 or x button. There is an autoclicker app that applies the point for you.

The icon level 2 means the glitch is working, once you level up once it will give your level back plus can increase your icon further to 9999

The moment my autoclicker is activated, my phone stays on the whole time. If yours doesnt stay on while autoclicker is active, you may need to check settings that keep your phone on.

That happened to me as well, do the icon glitch but put at least 100k icon points on popular perk then do the same as you did before. The reason why this happens is because you got too much fame (game doesnt register the last level unless level up with a lower amount of fame).
