I told my hairdresser that I wanted to completely light my hair so I can go silver (I have Asian hair), but she just put foils. Now I have sections that are a dark blonde and some that are still my nature colour. It's just so frustrating when that's not what I asked. I sooooo wish Guy Tangs vids where on youtube 9 years ago when i was still in a salon (before having kids and an office job). When no client ever realised that they couldnt go from a level 4 to a 10/11 in a 2 hour appointment!!! It takes time people. I need to get mine done. I decided to stop fighting my natural gray hair but my local hairstylist said I'd have to go short to cut out the old color because it'd be too drying to strip it and get a natural look. I've got a full six months of growth so I'm going to have her cut some length (I had a stacked bob when we last colored it) and wait it out. I'd taken a prescription medication and had a major issue of hair loss. I used to have very thick hair but I've lost a good half of it. I'm getting a bit of regrowth so we'll see. I'm not shedding like I was 6 months ago so I'm hoping!!

I noticed that the 10SS on her ends seems more like a silver without any blue or purple tones to it but near her root it seems blue-ish/violet. Oh My Goodness Mr. Tang or GUY, I am not sure what to call you. If I could have one thing on my bucket list This hair color would be this 73 year old great grandmother's dream. I used to have beautiful platinum blonde hair, thanks to good products ha ha, when I was in my twenties, then as I got older it seem easier for me to just put on some red color bought in a Wally World to cover up roots that were trying to tell me I'm old. I was just looking at sewing tutorials and somehow popped on your video of this beautiful hair color. God does have a sense of humor to put what I long for in front of my face to tease me. It does help that your model/patron is absolutely beautiful. You make me feel that you are never too old to feel young again, if only in your heart. Thank you.

I NEED you to do my hair. My hair is half black half grey, but the grey I use is a bit too green tone, I've mixed with a purple toner and it works but it still isn't the cool icey dark slate grey I want! Grr! Also, any tips for keeping bleached hair happy? I use coconut oil twice a week, argon oil and heat protectant after every wash and I wash my hair about every 3/4 days. Keep up the ace work Guy! Also, your booty is goals, you're the reason I do extra squat sets in the gym!😂❤

TheGTIKitten depends on the hair type but I have fine, porous, dry, curly hair that I bleach to a level 9-10. I use olaplex when I can, and homemade protein treatments (using gelatin) as that helps my curly hair and my mildly "stretchy" hair problems. Do not overload your hair with protein though, it will make hair straw like and extremely breakable. I suggest testing your hair for protein deficiency (there are videos on KZbin) and then try a masque if you find you're lacking.

I love the color! I've been trying to get that color since January. My hair was down to my waist and very healthy. Went to two hairdressers... long story. My hair is now shoulder length and extremely damaged and still not silver. I sure wish you were closer to me! Great video!! Love your work! You are truly talented!
