Been drumming since I’ve been 4 yrs old. Just got a nice Yamaha direct drive double pedal set up. Never played double ever. Always played a Ludwig speed king then for the last 15 plus years DW 5000 chain. Thanks to you and your videos I’m starting to pick it up. Your vids for double bass are hands down the best I’ve watched. Thank you very much for all your wisdom and knowledgeable advice. 👍🏻👍🏻

Excellent for beginners ... also one or two things to add here ... if there are inconsistencies from my experience are caused by either weak left foot or bad pedal settings that make the left foot slower, and the second one that I want to add .. the slower you get into this the better it is ... after 35+ years on the drums I still get myself into the 40bpm torture ... if it sounds good and even there when faster will be a killer :)

Wow I would have never thought of continuing the double kick while doing a kind of continuous fill. I just started learning the double pedals a month ago and I’ve been trying to find a way to practice the timing and also incorporating my hands - cause for some reason the faster I go the more it throws my off once I add my hands - idk if that makes sense haha

I don't know the correct term for the drum fill in question, but it is played "LH-LF-RH-RF-LH-LF-RH-RF...." etc, which sounds like a continuous roll. Where can I find a tutorial on that technique?
