Just watched another video about getting into property management, and gotta say, i like this guy a whole lot more. He doesn't sound like he's trying to scam me or promising the world but then I'll kick me to the curb. This guy sound genuine. Though i also feel like this may not be the path for me... Shit.

Being a property manager also means having a keen eye for details, and the person for this job should also have investigative skills that can be used for tenant screening. Even though there are different background check tools available to screen tenants, someone should have the skills to dig deeper to ensure you're giving the best result to your clients.

As a PM people skills , organizational skills, communication skills , and leadership skills are so incredibly important. Also Residents can be mean but they are telling you something you should listen. They are very important. Take the reviews seriously.
@USRealtyTraining Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! In project management, those soft skills-people skills, organization, communication, and leadership-are absolutely vital. They form the backbone of successful projects. And you're spot on about listening to residents or stakeholders-even if the feedback might be challenging to hear. Reviews and feedback are invaluable tools for growth and improvement. They often hold insights that can enhance processes and relationships, ultimately leading to better outcomes. Being receptive to feedback is key to continual improvement in any role, especially in project management where collaboration and understanding stakeholders' needs are crucial.

How is the schedule like for a property manager, is it flexible or is it closer to a 9-5 job where you need to be in the office everyday. Any info you can give on the work flow of a property manager And if it can be a side job... THANKS, and GREAT VIDEO.
@skratty0073 жыл бұрын
Definitely not a side job! Need staff, need patience and people skills.

The Best Property Management Software for 2022 according to you?
@doradominguez73162 жыл бұрын
Great video here, I just had one question. When it comes to starting out as a property manager, would you recommend using property management software? I have heard of some that seem like really useful tools (like DoorLoop) but I would like to know if using one is actually useful or not. Thank you!
