Good video, covers pretty much all the important points. Requested driver resetting should be gone with one of the last few patches, but it is always good to make sure the request is shown for all connected drivers (can sometimes bug out, then the car is stuck with no driver in the car). One or two details I would add: - Collaborate on car choice and setup. It makes no sense if one driver posts PB after PB and the others spin out every second lap. If that means compromising on the setup, so be it. All drivers should feel comfortable driving the car for it to last the distance. - Support your driver. However many people there are in the team, at least one person should keep the driver company. Help him by feeding him information about weather changes, opponents and remind him even on the obvious steps he needs to do (ie modifying pit stop settings). Also, if something unforeseen happens, having another person there who figures out the next steps while the driver concentrates about finding his rhythm again is invaluable. Has Jimmy unsubbed yet? 🤣

It’s a shame that assetto isn’t more popular on console/cross platform. I think it would be fun to play with PC players
@Knoopje4133 жыл бұрын
Not sure about PS+Xbox, but compared to PC the console versions have slightly different game physics. Hence why cross platform with PC isn't possible. Hence also why on console you can get about 4sec faster around Kyalami compared to PC 😅

We're currently preparing for a 12h race at Suzuka in June. It's the first endurance event for our team, so this video has been immensely helpful! Quick question though: Pit stops with driver changes take longer than without, correct?
@zefvans40063 жыл бұрын
it depends if you change your tires or not. A driver swap takes 30 sec. Same time as a full pitstop with refueling and tire change.
@yhaustein383 жыл бұрын
@@zefvans4006 That's good to know thanks! We're not gonna double stint the tires so that makes for some easier planning as we're four drivers in our car.
@dotbags3 жыл бұрын
Great video mate very interesting. I was hoping you were going to mention the car setup and how that works. Do you all have to have the same setup? Does driver No.1 set the car up and then it’s done for all the other drivers? Or does each driver have to put the setup in themselves? Keep up the great work mate ✊

I think simgrid has not enough 1 or 2h solo races as events, or every event i try to join is closed event or there is just 40 or 50 places, its poor not mentioning unless you drive with ur buddies its almost impossible to find a team.
